Key stone chips spreader may be used with application of bituminous binder (S-90/ VG-10) after each layer, and with key aggregates placed on top of the second layer to serve as a base, conforming to the line, grades and cross-section specified, the compacted layer thickness being 75mm (Seventy five millimetre) as per Technical Specification Clause 505 of MORD by manual means including carriage of material with in all leads and lifts and other incidental complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 2 | Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor @ 0.25 to 0.30kg/sqm (at the rate of zero point two five to zero point three zero kilogramme per square metre) on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per technical specification clause 503 including carriage of material with in all leads and lifts and other incidental complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 3 | Providing and laying 30mm (thirty millimetre) thick single layer bituminous concrete with 100-120 ( one hundred to one hundred twenty) TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 (seventy five) tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder (VG-10/S-90) @ 5.4 to 5.6(five point four to five point six) per centof mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRT&H specification clause No. 509 complete in all respects including carriage of material with in all leads, lifts and other incidental as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
