2Note: - (a) SPT (IS 2131:81) will be conducted at every 1.0minterval and change of strataalong the borehole and test reports to be submitted on format as per IS 2131-1982 (Para 4.1)
3(b) The following tests shall be conducted on the disturbed and undisturbed samplesobtainedandresultsincludedinthereport :-(i)Naturalmoisture content, (ii) Grain size seiveanalysis (iii) Void Ratio and Porasity (iv) Bulk and dry density ( v) liquid limit and plasticitylimit,plasticity index (vi)Groundwatertable(vii)SPTchart(viii)Soilcharacteristics and classificationValue of cohesion and angle of internal friction (ix) Direct shear tests/ unconfined compression test (as applicable for type of soil) on disturbed samples recovered from SPT test (x) Bore logging.(xi) Specific gravity,(xii) Attenberg limits,(xiii) chemical analysis of sub soil,(xiv) consolidation test ,(xv)differential free swell test in case of expansive soil, (xvi) Modulus of sub grade reation (xvii) Studies of settlement characteristics of soilbased on consolidation tests (xviii)stratification of soil for entire depth onbore logorganic matter if any , (xix) Triaxial compression test and determination of shear parameteres as per relavent IS, (xx) Spl lab test in case if rocy strata such as un confined compressivestrength,tensile /shear strength, RQD-quality index for rockey strata and other tests if anyfor classification of rockey strata as per IRC/BIS i.e soft or hard rock categorically. The reports shall be as per NBC is-1982,2131,2132,1888,2720,1904,6403,8009,1498,4968,and SP-36 in general .
4(c) Undisturbed samples (all as per IS-2132) shall be obtained at every 1m intervals and specially in clayed strata where encounteredandwherechangeofstratais(noticed)issuingstandard samples 30 to 50 cms long (arearatio notexceeding10%)these samples shallbeusedforcarryingoutlaboratoryconsolidationinallclayeystrata there undisturbed sample shall also used forcarrying outunconfined compression test (IS-2720) and consolidated drained triaxial shear strength tests.
5(d) Test cost of boring is deemeded to include all the Sampling transportation to laboratory tests, all as specified and report submission.
6(e)CrushingstrengthofHardrocksamplesrecoveredfromdrilling through hard rock strata
7(f) Chemical analysiss of water for ph sulphate and chloride contents.
8(g)Theratesareinclusiveofmobilization& de-Mobilizationoftools,plant and equipment,transportation ,erection and dismantling of all required equipment at site including deployment of suitable manpower requiredetc complete all as required .
9(h) Safe bearing capacity (SBC) of soil atevery 1.00 depth based on "N"value ,shear strength and settlement crieteria
10(i) RecommendedSBC at different depth of foundations seperatetly for the portionswith and without basement . Depth Ground Water Table details .
11(j) Recommondation for type of foundationand Recommondation for filling under floors and filling under protection including plinth protection
12(k) Photographic recordof geo-explorationshall alsobe submitted along with reports.

41Material and Labour for Trial pitof size 1.20x1.20x3.0m depth each and 5.0 m away from Bore Hole (both Centrally place) as per IS-1892:1979 specifications for soil/Soft Rock/hard Rock as per Site situation /conditions, Collection of Disturbed and Un-disturbed sample at 1.0 Mtr interval or at change of strata as per relevant IS code and conducting necessary Lab tests and detailed result to be given as per relevant IS code 2720/NBS-2005/SP-36 on Disturbed and Un-disturbed sample which includes determination of following tests :- (i) Sieve analysis and grain size distribution by Sieve analysis and Hydrometer test (ii) Atterburg Limits test (iii) Natural moisture content test (iv) Particle size analysis test (v) Bulk density/ dry density tests including material and labour for Site Clearance and removal of any type of vegetation,grass,shrubs,roots,branches,bushes etc from the site for carrying out Soil exploration at location/site and Material and labour for fixing of RL of ground level with reference to Bench Markand submission of complete results/reports in original in five sets.
42M&L for conducting plate load test of 6.2 KN and submission of report at places as directed for the purpose of finding of bearing capacity of soil settlement and K-value as per clause 4.3.1 IS 9214-1979 with correction for saturation, bending of plates and load defection curve and with the help of reaction plate including cost of all operators and bearing plate required for the testing with transportation charge complete all as specified and location as directed.
