Removal Of Soot From Cogen Stack During M And I Shutdown 2023 At Cpcl Manali Refinery , Miscellaneous Thermal Insulation Works , Removal Of Entire Soot / Sediments Accumulated Within The Individual Flue Stacks Through The Clean Out Doors 900X1200 Mm At The Base And The Soot Accumulated Over The Rcc Slabs On Each Corbel Within The Chimney Structure By Deploying Industrial Vacuum Machine ( Dry Vacuuming ) Of High Suction Power, Minimum Loading Capacity Of 8 M3 And Inbuilt Particulate Air Filtration System, All Required Tools Tackles And Manpower ( Skilled Crew ) . Flexible Hose Arrangement With Extensions Through The Height Of Chimney Shall Be Provided Via Access Door / Air Outlet Opening / Top Manhole Including Stacking The Collected Soot Material And Transporting To Designated Place Up To A Lead Of 1 Km. For About 500 M3. Of Soot / Sediments. Jumbo Bags Required For Collecting The Soot Shall Be Mobilized By The Contractor. Any Additional Openings Required In The Steel Stacks For Removal Of Soot Shall Be Done By Cpcl. => Limited
