1The total job consists of the following parts
2Inspection and TestingStructural Health Assessment of the Existing RCC Water Tank by visual inspection (photography by drone) and Non-Destructive Testing. The probable Non-Destructive Test names are mentioned below: i. Schmidt Rebound Hammer Test for the assessment of the surface strength, ii. Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Test for the assessment of the quality of the concrete, iii. Carbonation Test of Concrete for the assessment of the dampness in the concrete, iv. Half Cell Potential Test for the assessment of the durability and corrosion in concrete, v. Chemical Analysis of the concrete for the assessment of the present quality of concrete. vi. Concrete Core Cutting at few suitable locations for the laboratory analysis of the sampleNo of NDT considered are as folllows: Surface Preparation- 012. UPV- 323. Rebound Hammer- 324. Carbonation -085. Half cell potential- 086. Chemical Analysis- 027. Core Cutting Test -03Note: a)The initial investigation will be done by visual inspection, after that, as per the requirement of the investigation team, to gather more detailed information on the present condition of the structure, appropriate non-destructive tests at suitable locations in the necessary numbers will be done considering economical point of view as well as staging arrangement for NDTb)The testing and inspection of the whole tank using mobile crane . No extra payment will be paid for mobile crane rent. c)The Non-Destructive Tests require the preparation of the surface, taking out samples, drilling and digging the concrete, etc. The investigation team will not be responsible for any finishing work like re-concreting, plastering, painting, etc
3Preparation of Inspection Report andVetting from Government Engineering College/UniversityPreparation of the Inspection Report based on the results of NDT, and recommendation for repairing/retrofitting/demolition and Vetting from Government Engineering College/University
