| 2 | General Scope - Refractory Repair Jobs Includes Dismantling of the existing lining as per EIC / Inspection, stacking of the debris at designated locations upto a lead of 200m, Surface preparation before application, welding of anchors / studs, Re-lining of the same as per drawings/Inspection recommendations, Clearing of loose refractory/debris materials from furnace floor before boxup and stacking of the same at designated locations upto a lead of 200m and obtaining Inspection clearance for the Refractory Repair works after completion of the same.Scope includes shifting of necessary materials from CPCL stores and stacking the same near the work spot using temporary shed, return of unused material to stores in good condition.Scope includes supplying of all types of tools & tackles, lifting arrangements like chain pulley blocks, machineries, all consumables and labor to complete the job in all respects.Saffolding erection is excluded from the Contractor\"s Scope. |
| 3 | Refractory Repair works in Plant 214 on Lumpsum basis comprises of following scope.1) Replacement of manway plug assembly:Removal and re-fixing of 2 no.s of new / old manway plug assembly of PG boiler/Cold Collector including the back up bricks / blocks, ceramic fibre blanket etc, as applicable.2) Fixing of available ceramic fibre modules upto 10 sqm in walls / roofs of reformer including marking and welding of studs using stud welding gun or manually with the help of electrodes (sliding type / centre hole type) along with fixing of back up ceramic fibre blanket/board upto 75 mm thick, 0.1 mm SS foil fixing and supply and application of 2 coats of epoxy resin paint.3) Replacement of Radiant Section brick Lining upto 2 sqm:Renewal of refractory brick lining of wall of reformer including removal of existing lining, fixing of 3mm thick asbestos mill board / ceramic paper, upto 200 mm thick ceramic fibre board / castable , 0.15 mm ss foil, 114 / 230 thick insulating bricks including welding of split pins & brick holding plates / anchors at castable locations (if required) including supply and application of 2 coats of epoxy resin paint.4) Filling of gaps/ Cracks in Refractory lining with ceramic fibre (CF), Thermo couple CF wrapping & Securing with SS Binding wire as per EIC / Inspection directions upto 300 m5) Dismantling of bricklining / ceramic fibre blanket or module lining (as applicable) in all Reformer Manways for entry and relining of the same for boxup (as applicable).Scope includes mobilisation/demobilisation of required manpower and machinary resources |
| 4 | Refractory Repair works in Plant 14 on Lumpsum basis comprises of following scope.1) Relining of ceramic fibre blanket lining upto 2 sqm in walls / roofs of furnace including marking and welding of studs using stud welding gun or manually with the help of electrodes, along with fixing of back up ceramic fibre blanket upto 75 mm thick, 0.1 mm SS foil fixing (as applicable), fixing of moist felt hot face layer upto 12 mm thick, ceramic cup locks, LDS mouldable (as applicable) and supply and application of 2 coats of epoxy resin paint.2) Replacement of Castable Refractory upto 1 sqm :Replacement of Insulating castable in Convection / end tube sheet / header boxes/ stack (in position) for thickness upto 150 mm including welding of \"v\" anchors if required3) Filling of gaps/ Cracks in Refractory lining with ceramic fibre (CF), Thermo couple CF wrapping & Securing with SS Binding wire as per EIC / Inspection directions upto 300 m4) Replacement / Re-alignment of Muffle Block Assemblies upto 3 No.s :Removal of the existing muffle block segments, salvaging of the usable segments, re-aligning using new / salvaged segments as per the drawing specifications. Muffle blocks will be supplied by CPCL free of cost.5) Dismantling of castable / ceramic fibre blanket or module lining (as applicable) in all Furnace Manways for entry and relining of the same for boxup (as applicable).Scope includes mobilisation/demobilisation of required manpower and machinary resources |
