5Earthwork in excavation in the canals / drainage channels / borrow pits /River bed / slope of bank as noted below as per designed section & throwing the spoils in layers of 25 cm. for making banks as per profile or to deposit the same in any other place within an initial lead of 30 metre and initial lift of 1.5 metre including breaking clods, rough dressing etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. Ordinary soil / local soil / soil mixed with moorum or kankar / silt, dry or moist / slushy silt / sticky soil.
6Earthwork from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile.
7Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.
8Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation.
9Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments, repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting thearth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land , including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, channels, filling depressions in requisite profile, levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in-chargeincluding Royalty etc. complete(land owned and arranged by contractor). (Royalty certificate in original from concerned authority are to be submitted along with the bill. During initial payment of bill a deduction as per considered rate may be made.)NB :- Measurement to be taken on the basis of stack measurement / prepost work section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. No extra payment will be made for stacking.

22Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in Bridge Super-structure including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1 mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications. 25Precast Cement Concrete blocks or lining units as per designed section and specification, in nominal mix portion 1:1.5:3 (Corresponding to M20 Grade)with well graded 20 mm down stone metal aggregate, including dressing, ramming, shuttering, finishing the surface by trowel without adding any additional cement and sand mortar, curing, transporting and laying the blocks or lining units at work site in position over sand cushion/ filter layer, with cold (paper) joints between the adjacent units, having gap varying from 0 to 5 mm as tolerance, with all leads and lifts, including supply and carriage of all materials complete. Stone aggregate of Broken stone of North Bengal Varieties.
26Quarrying , Carrying & Supplying stone Boulders from quarry site selected by the Engineer-in-charge to the site of work including loading at loading point , unloading at destination & carrying by head-load upto a distance of 50 m. each way and stacking complete (the rate is including Royalty and other statutory charges, as applicable). North Bengal Variety. Boulders combined with 70% above 30 kg and 30% above 20 kg.

41“Cast-in-situ cement concrete blocks or lining units as per designed section and specification, in nominal mix proportion 1:1.5:3 with well graded 20 mm down stone metal aggregate, laid in position by casting in alternative panels or otherwise to keep a gap of 12mm between the adjacent units, over a layer of polythene sheet of thickness not less than 100 µm to act as a separator between the bottom surface of the block and the sand cushion/filter material laid below the blocks, including dressing, ramming, shuttering, finishing the exposed surface by trowel without adding any additional cement and sand mortar, curing and filling the gaps between the adjacent units by 5.6mm down coarse aggregate to be compacted properly, with all leads and lifts including supply and carriage of all materials, complete, without the cost of sand cushion/filter. 42Supplying, fitting, fixing end pieces for rectangular / square / circular sausages at the ends, with 10 SWG / 8 SWG G I wire net of different mesh sizes tying & sewing the same maintaning a lap length of 150 mm all around with 12 SWG G I wire complete, including the cost of supply of wire netting,fitting etc, complete as per direction of the Engineer - in - charge. Mesh size 125 mm x 125 mm with 10 SWG wire
43Supplying, fitting and fixing R.C. Guard Post 1.37m long with C.C. 1:2:4 with graded stone chips of 13.2mm down casting , curing complete including cost of providing 4nos.of 12mm dia. rod of length 1.54m as main reinforcement and 6 nos. of round shaped 8mm dia rods used as binders; the placing of the first binder should be at 75mm below the top finished surface and the other 5 nos of binders should be placed at 245mm c/c ; the guard post is of octagonal section with inscribed circle of dia 24cm at the base tapering to corresponding dimensions of 16cm at the top including two coats of painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and grade to form 6 nos. horizontal alternate bands in white/tannery yellow and black to 90 cm length standing up above ground after mending good damages if any during striking off shuttering, making hole in ground of 47cm depth and 30cm. minimum dia, fixing the guard posts in the same holes and repacking the earth properly so as to keep the guard posts standing properly erect in correct position true to line and length including carriage of R. C. Guard Post with due care to the site including loading into the truck and unloading at site complete in all respect. With Pakur variety stone chips.
