| 5 | Repairs to Pressure Sand filter (Shell) by openingthe Manhole Cover,removing out the total quantity of filter media approximate 24 MT manually with labourersfrom the filter shell which includes Sand, Pebbles of different sizes arranged in layers over a depth of 1000mm inside the pressure sand filter shell.Replacing all the damaged and broken porforated PVC pipesoflength 1 mt. & dia 2 1/2\" with necessary end caps and MTA, making necessary joints to the main water outletpipe.De rusting the scale formation on the entireinner surface of the pressure filter shell, cleaningand flushingit out.Cleaning the entirefilter media material vizSand, Pebbles outside with pressurised water, segregating the pebbles according tothesizes, refilling the entire filter media by arranging according to the marked layers and required depth till the shell is complete with total filter media material and sand layer including providing additional sand filter mediaif requiredand closing the Manhole Cover Complete as required by the Engineer-in-charge. |
