| 9 | Supply of 150 mm dia cast iron double flanged manually operated sluice valve generally conform to IS:14846 having body, door, dome, gland in graded cast iron to IS:210, Gr.Fg.260, four faces of SS ASTM A743 Gr.CF8 and spindle nut of leaded tin bronze to IS:318, outside screwed rising stainless steel AISI:431 spindle. Valves of size 350mmø and above will be with BTB and gear box arrangement for ease in operation. Valves to be tested by closed end method only. Flanges to be drilled as per IS:1538 Part-IV & VI. | 14 | Installation of 30 HP pump and motor(provided by department) on to the newly laid foundation and base frame including proper alignment of pump and motor with the help of manual labour and tools and tackles as per site requirement and directions of engineer in charge. |
| 15 | Providing fixing of suitable size tyre coupling for the 30 HP motor and pump including making bore holes as per site requirement, and alignment of motor and pump as per site requirement. Make of Coupling: Unique/Fenner/ DJB approved make. |
| 16 | Installation and fixing of all the above material with required material handling equipments with all safety precautions for installation. The job i/c erection the complete pipeline, valve, NRV with hardware goods on each joint, connecting the delivery line of the pump with the existing header line and suction line of 30 HP pumphouse to the UGR after providing the shutdown as per site requirement. The job includes making good any civil damage done while installation of suction and delivery line, making electric connections to motors and starters while taking proper safety precautions etc as per site engineer in charge. |
| 17 | Painting the complete pipeline, motor, pump sets, nrv, sluice valves etc with two coats of anti- corrosive paint as per directions of engineer in charge. |
| 18 | Testing & commissioning of above system first at NO LOAD & then at ON LOAD and for its proper operating as per the satisfaction of engineer in charge. |
