If not operating automatically, manual operation to be done along with breakers whenever required. ii) Ensure availability of spares in consultation with officer - in -charge. iii) To carry out daily / weekly / monthly checks as per OEM Schedule. iv) Assist OEM representative during inspection. v) Maintenance & charging of batteries of DG sets. vi) Top up of fuel tanks of DG sets whenever required. vii) Topping up of Lubricants whenever required. viii) Updation of given registers. Maintenance of records of daily/periodic checks, replacement of parts etc. in registers & reporting to officer-in-charge. |
| 6 | Operation & Maintenance of Fire Engines Fire Water Engine and Jockey Pumps: i) To maintain & Test Run the Fire Water Engine and Jockey Pumps as per schedule Ensure availability of spares in consultation with officer - in -charge. ii) To carry out daily / weekly / monthly / yearly checks as per OEM/PM Schedule iii) Assist OEM representative during inspection. iv) Maintenance & charging of batteries of Fire Engines. v) Top up of fuel tanks of Fire Engines whenever required. vi) Topping up of Lubricants whenever required. vii) Updation of given registers. Maintenance of records of daily/periodic checks, replacement of parts etc. in registers & reporting to officer-in-charge. viii) Checking of leakage of fuel, lubricants, coolant from all engines & pumps, inform the same to the officer in charge & arrest the same as per direction of officer in charge. ix) Periodical checking auto start sequence of Fire Engines by simulation, the auto start / stop of Jockey Pumps. x) Attending any fault related to Fire Engine and Jockey Pump Panels and maintaining the pressure switches of the same |

| 9 | Earth Pits i) Conduct Earth Resistance tests of all the Earth Pits and painting of banner on earth pit banner on half yearly basis & submit report. ii) Carry out necessary maintenance of earth pits to keep the earth resistance within specified limit. All required materials will be supplied by IOCL. |
