| 1 | Topographic & Hydrographic survey to develop plan & cross sections showing the latest river courses, streams, nalas, vegetation and any other water bodies showing details of latest position of active & dry channels, dykes/guide bunds and other permanent features like barrage, bridges, roads, highways, habitation, marginal bunds, vegetation etc in stretch of 7 km (from 2 km upstream to 5 km downstream of Farakka Barrage) and taking 29 river cross-sections in the specified river reach from high bank to high bank spread over an area of 48 sq kms using Photogrammetric technique by un-manned aerial vehicle (UAV)/Drone equipped with DGNSS or similar arrangement with LIDAR for surveying ground features and Hydrographic survey for water bodies complete in all respects including submission of data, DTM, Orthophotos, 3-D drawings, topographic plan and cross sections complete including all costs as detailed in Technical Specification (section - 5) Topographic plan (Scale 1:2500) and river cross-sections (Scale 1:2500H, 1:250V) at 250m intervals shall be developed. Complete in all respects as detailed in Technical Specification (section – 5). |
| 2 | Preparation and submission of Detailed Longitudinal sections (L-Sections) and Plan for three alternative alignments along with linkages on MX Rail/ AutoCAD showing 5 km in each sheet at a scale of 1:5000 longitudinal and 1:500 laterally. The alternative alignment shall be prepared in consultation with the Engineer-in-charge. Complete in all respects as detailed in scope of work (section – 5). |
| 3 | Transferring the finalized alignment on ground using Total station or any other survey equipment: Along the proposed alignment of track the contractor shall take longitudinal levels at every 25m intervals and transverse levels, 50m on either side of the proposed alignment. The contractor shall prepare the longitudinal sectional sheets of the entire stretch covering all details and cross-sectional sheets at every 25m intervals on both sides of the track indicating the original ground level, proposed formation level and the proposed Rail level in consultation with Engineer incharge. Tenderer shall fix up concrete pillar at every 25 m in straight portion of alignment & in curve the concrete pillar should be fixed at every junction point of the straight and curve transition and circular curve etc (i.e. at T1, J1, J2 & T2) .Alignment Pillars shall be fixed at both ends of each major/minor bridge. Complete in all respects as detailed in Technical Specification (section – 5). |
| 4 | Preparation & submission of station yard plans and ESP as per codel provisions and latest guidelines issued by the railway departments on Auto CAD plotted on tracing cloth/film with different colour i.e. Existing particulars in Black & proposals in Red colour with contractor"s staff, computer & printing equipment, stationery, tools etc., complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The name of the drawing shall be written bilingual language both in English & Hindi. Complete in all respects as detailed in Technical Specification (section – 5). |
| 5 | Pegging out Alignment using concrete pillars of size 30cm x 30 cm x 120 cm on straight and on curves at every 25m interval including setting out of transition curves with Contractors" own materials, tools and plants; including all leads and lifts and crossing of track etc.; including all taxes and royalties complete; including painting, marking the pillars at site; including setting out of curves at site indicating transition portion, apex point and crown of curve, beginning and end. Cost includes all cost of materials, labours, lift and lead, casting and installation of pillars as per directions of the Engineer -In charge. Complete in all respects as detailed in Technical Specification (section – 5). |
