11The job includes preparing work area for executing hot work, socket, fillet, butt welding using E 6010 / E 6013 / E 7018 electrodes / ER 70S2 filler wire as required, DPT wherever required,hydraulic / pneumatic test as per codes, specification, drawings and draining of water & drying with compressor air after hydrotest.
12The job also includes supplying of all types of tools & tackles,lifting arrangements like chain pulley blocks, machineries, all consumables and labour to complete the job in all respects, returning back the unused materials to owner"s storage point and dumping the generated scrap material to the designated area as per EIC instructions.
13The rates for the following items shall be exclusive of blinding & deblinding, radiography, stress relieving, reinforcement pad welding, removal of old piping for replacement,Supply and erection of scaffolding, dismanlting and removal of scaffolding after completion of job.
14The rates for the following items shall be inclusive of fabrication, laying, erection, welding, providing shoe supports, wear pads at support locations, , flushing of the new piping system, offering stagewise inspection, hydrotesting and draining / drying of the piping system,supply of DG for welding.
15Note: If Hydrotesting is avoided as per instructions of EIC, 90% of unit price only will be paid.

17NOTES
18(1) Thickness of piping for measurement shall be based on the relevant ANSI or equivalent standards
19(2) The finished weld joint elevation at site shall be taken as reference for measurement, wherever applicable.
20(3) The rates for socket & fillet welding in piping shall remain same for all thickness and elevations as per SOR.
21(4) Rate for weld joints of vents & drains shall be paid on actual measurement using the applicable SOR.
22(5) Fabrication & welding of pipe shoe supports & wear pad at support locations are included in unit price .
23(6) For blinding & deblinding wherever involved(except for hydrotest), rates shall be paid separately .
24(9) During hydrotesting of the above piping jobs, some portions of the existing piping in the circuit required to be hydrotested depending on the blinding and the same shall be paid separately.
25(12) Radiography of weld joints is not included in SOR and same shall be paid separately.
26(13) wherever different thickness segments are being welded, 75% of higher thickness and 25% of lower thickess unit rate shall be considered for payment.
27(14) Wherever dissimilar welding is considered, higher metallurgy welding rate shall be considered.

49The job involves removal of existing pumps 31-G-100A/B with motor,seal pot and connected accessories along with base frame/support plate etc. unfastening,chipping off grouting, dismantling all connected accessories,structural, various fittings,instruments installed on the equipment. Job also includes supplying of all types of tools, tackles, lifting arrangements, cranes, tractor trolley and equipment, machineries all consumables and labour to complete the job in a workman like manner, area preparation for hot job and area cleaning after completion of work including blinding, deblinding,removal of insulation, gas cutting of bolts, chipping of foundation,flushing wherever required. All jobs are to be carried out as per the instruction and to the full satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.Note:The pump shall be dismantled in single piece and not in parts.

86PAINTING (OFFSITES):-Supply of paints and primers, preparation of surfaces and application of primer and finish paints, identificaiton (Line Numbering), lettering, colour bands, colour coding etc., as specified including rubdown and touch up of shop primer wherver required, providing scaffolding for all heights, labour , material, tools and tackles, consumables supervision, etc., to complete the work in all respects as per EIL specificaiton 6-44-0004, drawings and direcitons of Engineer-in Charge for all types of uninsulated piping, fittings, flanges, supports, valves, etc., Surface preparation by Metal grit blast cleaning and applicaiton is specified, in suchcases finish paints shall also be applied in the fabrication yard. The identification marks of the piping and joints shall be moted before blasting and the same shall be transferred in primed surface with polyurethene paints (F2) or as per the instruciton of Engineer-in-Charge. Notes:-All joints (fabrication as well as erection joints) shall be left unpainted till Hydrotesting. No extra payment shall be made for identification (line numbering etc.,) Any repair of primer prior to application of balance coating shall be included in offered price. No separate price shall be paid for repair of primer paint.
