23 | STRUCTURAL STEEL GRATING: Supplying, transporting, fabricating in factory, rectangular gratings as per layout drawings with plain bearing bar and Cross Bars duly press locked into bearing bar. Gratings shall be duly hot dip galvanized after fabrication given in the detailed specification with minimum thickness of galvanisingof average 85 microns all through the sectional area, & erecting in position and fixing in position mild steel Gratingwelded/ bolted/placedwith adequate clamps wherevever applicable in floors, platforms, staircase steps, trench covers, landings etc. including cutting for openings wherever required as specified and directed at all floors at all levels etc. complete. The grating shall confirm to the typical section details of grating as shown in drawing . 25 | Providing & fixing Galvalume steel profile sheets (size, shape andpitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) of bare metalthickness 0.50mm with all nuts/ bolts as per ASTM A446 having yieldstress of 275mpa, surface shall have hot dip metallic coating of Aluminium Zinc alloy comprising of55% aluminium,43.5% zinc & 1.5%silicon, with 5-7 micron epoxy primer andpolyester top coat of 15-18micron on both sides,total coated thickness(TCT) of 0.58mm.Sheet shallhave protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches while transportation & should be supplied in single length upto 6m oras desired by Engineer-in-charge. Note:Measurement shall be on total area completed and overlaps shallnot beconsidered.The job will be carried out at a height of more than3m. Hence all neccessary safety standard shall be followed. |

The contractor shall be fully responsible for safety of thesubstructure and super structure of the fire screen wall and firescreen wall to be dismantalled and foundations, removal of materials,rubbish etc. from the site to an objectionable place immediately aftercompletion of works etc all complete as per terms, conditions,specification and direction of engineer. The job includes thedismantalling of the fire screen wall, structures etc. and cleaning theworking place as per the direction of site-in-charge. After dismantllingthe dismantalled materials would be the Contractor"s property. |
