| 1 | Excavation in Hill area by manual/mechanical means:- Excavation in soil in hill areas all heights and depth in all kind of soilincluding saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hardd rock all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiselling and wedging out rock( where blasting is prohibited) including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with a lift upto all heights and all leads as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, in conformately with the requirement of technical specification of rural roads clause 1603.1 all useful material such as stone, shingle, aggregates& slate etc. shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side properly.Any loss to the public and private property to during the course of execution shall be the absoulte responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. |
| 2 | Excavation for structures:-Earth work in excavationfor structure in all depth as per drawing and technical specification Clause 305-1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracin , removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal in all lead and lift including dressisng of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable material . | 3 | Excavation in hilly areas in hard rock requiring blasting by manual means in foundation tranches or drains including cutting trimming of side slopes and disposing of cut mateial within all leads as lifts as per technical specifictation clause 1603.2. any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. |
| 4 | Providing and laying cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement:6 sand : 12 graded stone 40mm agregate nominal size)and curing complete in open foundation as per drawing & Technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 including the cost of form work and hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 5 | Stone masonry in cement mortar in foundation complete as per drawing & technical specification clause 702,704,1202 and 1203 with randum rubble masonry in cement motor 1:6 (one cement : six sand) including the cost of form work and hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 6 | Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level 1:3:6 (1 cement :3 coarse sand) :6 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)including hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 7 | Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 for culvert on first class bedding of granular material in sigle row invluding fixing color with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection work, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets900mm dia including the cost of form work and hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 8 | Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry/plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100mm dia PVC pipe extending through the full with of the structures with slop of 1(V):20(H) towardes drawings face compete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 614,709,1204.3.7 including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and as per HP.PWD. specifications of 1990 volume-I and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. |
| 9 | Removal of slips / land slides in hilly area inall height and depth in all kind of soil such as ordinary soil , ordinary rock and hard rock including blasting ( Ifrequired) by mechanical means including cutting and trimming of slopes and disposal ofcut / unserviceable materials/ debriesupto indentified dumping site within alllead and lift as per technical specification 302.3.5 and 1611. with in all leads and lift, carriage of material and others incidental complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. |
| 10 | Backfiling behind abutment wingwall, retaining wall/breast wall as per specification 1204.3.8 with granular material including hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 11 | Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4mm (four millimetres)dia G.I. wire conforming to IS:280 and IS: 4826 in 100mm x 100mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10% (Tenper cent) extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 40 Kg (Forty millimetres) each as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1301includinghauling of material through all modes of transporations with in all leads and lifts and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. . |
