1Dismantling of LT Panel/Feeder Panel/ Bus Bar Chambers including disconnecting the LT cable connections with carefully & checking thoroughly at site alongwith repalcement of unserviceable parts like indication lamps, selector switches, NO/NC switches, push buttons, MCCBs/MCBs, internal wiring, aluminium/copper busbars and other minor parts all as required at site including replacement of internal wiring with copper conductor & beading etc. Note :- (a) Dismantling of defective/unserviceable parts will be done by the contractor after disconnecting the electrical connections duly ensuring the safety of working persons. (b) Replacement of unserviceable parts like indication lamps, selector switches, NO/NC switches, push buttons, MCCBs/MCBs, internal wiring, aluminium/copper busbars shall be measured & paid seperately under relavant item.
2M & L for preparation of external and internal old painted steel surfaces of LT Panel boards/LT feeder pillar boxes/Bus Bar Chambers etc in position by removing/scrapping old disintegrated and deteriorated paint and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint by spray gun over a coat of red oxide zinc chromium primer including writing letter (ie nomenclature of Panel Board) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

18S&F in repair Terminal Blocks 3/6 way for panel/starter complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
19S&F Surge protection device TP+N, 320V, 20kA to be fixed in LT panel boards complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
20S&F in repair/ replacement of online changeover switch 250Amps, 415V open enclosure including accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
21S&F in repair/ replacement of online changeover switch 160 Amps, 415V open enclosure including accessories complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
22M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate 60cm X 60cm X 6mm thick buried vertically in ground to depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level, with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level, connected to galvanized earth strip of size 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel besides welding at all joints as shown in drawing and including excavation and earth work, GI pipe light grade 40mm bore for protection of earth strip and connected to continous earth lead on pole/test point, supplying and laying charcoal dust, common salt PCC 1:2:4 type B1, chamber and MS angle iron frame 40x40x3mm and RCC cover 40mm thick (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 6mm dia round bars @ 75mm C/C both ways with MS handle 12mm dia, PGI funnel and wire mesh, 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering all as shown in electrical plate No 3 on srl page No 497 of SSR Part I (2009)drawing and connection to earth test point including testing and including dismantling and taking out old earthing complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The cost of earth lead /strip and GI pipe for protection of earth lead/strip upto 7.5m is included in the quoted rate. (ii)The cost of excavation, earth work is included in the quoted rate.
23Taking down existing old unserviceable LT panel board and Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of factory made and tested (incl CPRI type test certified),outdoor type LT feeder pillar box/ LT Panel Board of appropriate dimensions (as per Indian Electricity rules), platform/floor mounted front and back openable, suitable for 415 Volts, 3 phase 4 wire, 50 Hz AC supply system, having 01 No bus bar chamber with insulated copper busbars installed on porcelain insulators and cable alley for cables. The panel shall be dust and vermin proof, having IP-65 class protection and made of 3.15mm thick CRCA MS sheet and 50x50x6mm thick angle iron frame work,powder coated finishing with synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer, front & rear opening type, with aprons for cable entry,including removable door shutter and locking arrangements {with provision of 65mm Godrej (Freedom) lock with 2 keys}, internal wiring with PVC insulated, multistranded copper conductor FRLS cables of adequate size but not less than 4 sqmm consisting of the following:-

25Notes:- (a) All armoured cables shall enter through bottom of the LT panel board duly glanded and socketed and connected to MCCBs/cable terminals. Cost of glanding, socketing etc are deemed to be inclusive in the unit rate of panel board. (b) All the outgoing cable shall be terminated in bakellite cable connector and shall be duly glanded and socketed. (c) All the cables (power and control wiring ) should be terminated duly socketed with heavy duty tinned copper lugs, GI bolts/screws nuts, flat washers and spring washers all as required. (d) White acrylic marker plate (for feeder / switch marking ) to be provided with black lettering by heat press machine as indicated in drawing and to be pasted over the panel door/near the cable connector with high quality adhesive. (e) The cost of platform/foundation with PCC shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates.
26Taking down existing old unserviceable Busbar Chamber and supply, installation, testing and commissioning outdoor type Busbar Chamber of size 1000x1200x450mm, totally enclosed,cubical type, front openable, single door, made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet on MS angle 50x50x6mm frame welded to the bottom, powder coated finishing with synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer, suitable for 415 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz AC supply system. The Busbar Chamber shall be dust and vermin proof,having IP-65 class protection with aprons for cable entry,including locking arrangement {with provision of 65mm Godrej (Freedom) lock with 2 keys},internal wiring with PVC insulated,multistranded copper conductor FRLS cables of adequate size but not less than 4 sqmm consisting of the following:- (a) Copper busbar of rating 300 Amps for four pole including PVC heat shrink sleeves (R, Y, B & N ) : 02 Sets (a) MCCB 4P, 160 Amp confirming to IEC 60947-2 & IS-13947-3thermal magnetic releaseand adjustable over load setting 0.8-1.0 x In and adjustable short circuit setting 6-10 x In and rupturring capacity 36 KA at 415 Volt AC, 50 Hz complete - 01 No.

The Busbar Chamber shall be dust and vermin proof, having IP 65 class protection with aprons for cable entry,with locking arrangement {including provn of 65mm Godrej (Freedom) lock with 2 keys}, with internal wiring with PVC insulated,multistranded copper conductor FRLS cables of adequate size but not less than 4 sqmm consisting of the following:- (a) Copper bus bar of rating 200 Amps for four pole including PVC heat shrink sleeves (RYB & N ) : 02 Sets (a) MCCB four pole 125 Amp confirming to IEC 60947-2 & IS-13947-3 thermal magnetic releaseand adjustable over load setting 0.8-1.0 x In and adjustable short circuit setting 6-10 x In and rupturing capacity 16 KA at 415 Volt AC, 50 Hz complete - 01 No.
