Tender For Special Repair To Black Top Road Approx 2.7 Km Within Unit Loc Of Sikh And Rarh Rif Under Ge ( S ) Bathinda Mil Stn - Preparing Black Top Bituminous Surfaces By Brushing With Wire Brushes For Removing Caked Mud Etc Sweeping With Brooms And Finally Fanning The Cleaned Surfaces With Air Pressure Through Air Jet Using Air Compressor To Remove All Loose Dirt Etcincluding Removing The Mud Etc To A Distance Minimum 1.5 M From Edge Of Road And Applying Evenly A Tack Coat Of Bituminous Primer Using Paving Bitumen ( Vg-10 ) @ 5 Kg Per 10 Sqm Of Road Surface By Sprayer Operated Hot Pressure Mechanism Including Supplying, Laying, Spreading 30 Mm Consolidated Thickness Of Semi Dense Asphalticconcrete With Job Mix Formula Using Paving Bitumen ( Vg-30 ) At The Rate Of 5.5% Binder Content By Weight Of Total Mix Using Mechanical Paver For Leveling Within The Specified Tolerance As Specified Inssr Part - I, Rolled And Consolidated To Required Camber And Gradient With Power Roller For Uniform Smooth Surface Etc Complete All As Specified And Directed By Engineer-In-Charge. Note :- ( I ) The Job Mix Formula Shall Be Approved By Ge. ( Ii ) 5.5% Binder Content Has Been Specified For Quoting Purpose Of Bid. If The Quantity Of The Bitumen Exceeds 5.5% As Mentioned In Schedule A / Boq During Job Mix Formula, No Plus Price Adjustment Shall Be Made.If The Quantity Of The Bitumen Required As Per Job Mix Formula Works Out To Less Than 5.5% The Recovery Of The Supply Only Bitumen Shall Be Effected @ Rs 50 / - Per Kg. Name of Work: SPL REPAIR TO BLACK TOP ROAD APPROX 2.7 KM WITHIN UNIT LOC OF SIKH AND RARH RIF UNDER GE (S)BATHINDA MIL STN

1	Preparing black top bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air pressure through air jet using air compressor to remove all loose dirt etcincluding removing the mud etc to a distance minimum 1.5 m from edge of road and applying evenly a tack coat of bituminous primer using paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated hot pressure mechanism including Supplying, laying, spreading 30 mm consolidated thickness of semi dense asphalticconcrete with Job mix formula using paving bitumen (VG-30) at the rate of 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using mechanical paver for leveling within the specified tolerance as specified inSSR Part - I, rolled and consolidated to required camber and gradient with power roller for uniform smooth surface etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The job mix formula shall be approved by GE. (ii) 5.5% binder content has been specified for quoting purpose of bid. If the quantity of the bitumen exceeds 5.5% as mentioned in Schedule A / BOQ during job mix formula, no plus price adjustment shall be made.If the quantity of the bitumen required as per job mix formula works out to less than 5.5% the recovery of the supply only bitumen shall be effected @ Rs 50/- per Kg. The cost of transportation of material and testing charges shall be borne by the Contractor.) (iii) Contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE.Premixwill be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorporation of the same in the work .
2	M & L for premixed bituminous, macadam VG-30 as per design mix with binder content of 4% by weight of total mix laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber on forming speed breaker of specified height and shape etc compete all as specified.
3	Repairs to potholes not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth and applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m of paving bitumen (VG-10),putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m of paving bitumen (VG-30), blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed, depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm. Note: (i) Pot holes shall be marked and checked by Engineer-in-charge. 100% quantity before commencement of work and shall also be entered in MB with reference to permanent objects before starting carpeting work. (ii) Rate quoted by contractor shall deemed to be including of supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings.
4	M&L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, marking etc of 2.0 mm thick film on new surfaces or previously treated road surfaces with hot applied retro reflective thermoplastic road marking paint (White / Golden yellow) conforming to MORT&H (clause 803.4) all as specified with 8% glass beads using special applicator machine with heating arrangement upto 160 degree C including cleaning and drying the existing road surfaces to ensure dust, oil, grease and moisture free surfaces before applying the paint complete all as specified and directed. Make : Automark or equivalent make given in Appx "B".
5	S&F ABS plastic Speed breaker/ bump in parabolic convex shape of size 500 x 375 x 50 mm thick , heavy duty, highly resistant to severe traffic impacts and harsh weather conditions, dovetail interlocking sub units, jointed and fixed to make the bump perfectly uniform, bump made out of precoloured material (black/ yellow) and UV stabilizer to keep them perfectly colourful, studded with 02 Nos reflectors on either side to make it clearly visible motorists during night hours, fixing with 06 Nos metalic bolts in each and fixing the same on road with 12 mm dia 120 mm long zink plated steel bolts and adhesive complete all as specified and directed (Dark eye model No DA-1008 or equivalent model of 3M/ Asian Loto/ Greenlite).
6	S&F two way (dual direction) reflective road cat eye of plastic body of approx dimensions 100mmx 110mm x 20 mm withred / amber / white reflective panels and fixing the same on road surface by applying approximately 100 gm Epoxy mixture and placing the cat eye without applying excessive pressure and additional fixed with 12 mm dia and 120 mm long zinc plated steel nail at the centre of cat eye complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Model No DA-52 of make Dark eye or equivalent make of 3M/ Greenlite)
7	S&F solar delineator 600 mm long made of ABS material dual directional rectangular, fitted with 4 ultra bright flashing LEDs and mounted on MS pipe 50mm dia powder coated (shade as approved by GE) anti rust and anti theft steel nuts 125 x 100mm size and fixing in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with size of block 300mmx300mmx350mm deep including excavation and earth work in any strata complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
