Name of Work:REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF CABLE DUCT NETWORK INGONDIA CITY DUE TO ROAD WIDENING FORYEAR 2022-23.
Sl. No. Item Description
1Dismantling the existing bituminous road /concrete road/water bound macadam etc. and stacking the serviceable materials as directed, disposal of the surplus dismantled materials by mechanical transport in conformity with the applicable bye laws of local bodies.
2Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

4Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.
5Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :
6a) 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)
7Providing and laying yellow polythene sheet of weight not less than 1 Kg./10 Sq.m. of approved make and quality, alround the cable duct nest including overlapping on the joints by minimum 30 Cm. (Longitudinal and laternal joints) etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge. (Only net surface area of cable duct nest shall be measured for payment , which shall be deemed to be inclusive of overlappings etc.)
8Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :
91:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stoneaggregate12.5 mm nominal size).
10Centerig and shuttering including strutting proping etc., and removal of forms for cement concrete work in cable duct nest etc. a) Foundations, footings, bases for columns
11Providng and laying in position PVC pipes in cable duct nests true to the line and alignment as per the drawings.The bottom most layer shall be supported on base spacers, placing each subsequent layer with the help of intermediate spacers after concreting upto the already laid layers (spacing of the spacer in the longitudinal direction for each layer of the pipes shall not be more than 2.0 meters center to center),spigot and socket jointing of the pipes cleaning androughening of the contact surfaces with sand paper or making neat fillets alround the joints; providing double ended coupling (confirming to IS-10124/II/82) to the ends of the pipes to be embedded in manholes/handholes, walls; drawing 4 mm dia polypropylene rope through the laid pipes etc. complete. in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.Note:1.The cost of concreting, spacers and polypropylene rope shall be paid under the relevant items. 2.Net length of laid PVC pipes between inner faces of manholes/ handholes shall be measured for payment.

14Providing laying 4 mm dia polypropylene rope (As per IS-5175-1987) inside the pipe from manhole to manhole as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge. (The weight of rope shall not be less than 0.74 Kg/100 M. length and breaking strength shall not be less than 213.00 Kg.)
15Extra for using cement concrete 1:1.5:3 instead of 1:3:6 in cable duct.

22Providing and laying cement concrete 1:5:10 ( 1 Cement : 5 coarse sand : 10 stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) in foundation, footings, bases of columns and in bottom of manhole/handhole excluding cost of the centering and shuttering.
23Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete work 1:1.5:3 ( 1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size), excluding cost of centring and shuttering, in Manhole/ Handhole etc.complete as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge. (NOTE: No deduction for the volume of embedded PVC ducts etc. shall be made from the quantity of RCC for the payment purpose).
24Centring and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of forms for cement concrete/reinforced cement concrete work in manhole/handholes. NOTE:-The rate shall deemed to be inclusive of all the expenses for making arrangement to accommodate PVC pipe ducts entering the manhole/ handhole and that for fixing M.S. eyes, hooks and ladder hooks in the RCC works.
25Foundations, footings, bases of columns etc. for mass concrete.
26Wall (Any thickness) including attached pilasters,butteresses,plinth and string courses etc.
27Suspended floors, roofs, landings, balconies and access platform.
28Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete up to plinth level.
29Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars.
30Providing and fixing Man hole, hand hole frame with hold fast andLocking Arrangement Assembly in Manhole Entries as per the drawings, sliding shutters with locking arrangement and its guide rails in M.S. angles, square bars, flats, etc, cutting, welding, drilling holes wherever required, fixing the guide rails in position with metallic expanding fasteners of approved size and type and the matching sunken head bolts including drilling of holes in RCC works, hot etc. at the sliding surface and in the guide rails etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
31Extra for cutting the damaged pvc pipe and providing new pvc with sleeves only PVC pipes will be paid seperately under relavent item of work.
32Identifying the blockages in the Duct pipe 110mm by pushingthe HDPE pipe 40mm dia. Pipe by manually and cleaning the blockage if any by brushing and carrying out mandril test of 90mm dia. As per the direction of E.I.C. including bailing out water by pump from manhole/duct etc. complete. The item includes labour charges for operating Manholes / ducts etc. complete for examination and assistanance for examination and clossing the same .(The required HDPEpipe will be arranged by the department at free of cost and same to be returned to the department on completion of the work . The transportation of HDPE pipe will have to be bear by the contractor both ways and nothing extra will be paid on this account . The paymentwill be made for each location irrespective of no. of ways in the duct.)
33Providing and fixing in position reinforced Concrete Cover with Spring Fibre Conforming to MD-10 and its assembly for 690 mm. nominal dia manhole opening as per the drawing Nos. CD/3A & CD/3B;107 mm. thick and 820 mm. dia cover with M.S. angle rim of size 107 x 65 x 3 mm. on side and 1.6 mm. M.S. bottom plate; necessary reinforcement welded to the rim;welding wherever necessary; cement concrete mix 1:1:2 ( 1 Cement : 1 Coarse sand : 2 graded stone aggregate 12.5 mm nominal size) with spring steel fibre conforming to I.S.12592 (part I)-1988 @ 0.75% by Volume of concrete; Steel work hot dipped galvanised; the necessary lifting arrangement; embossing on cover as required; filling grease in gaps between cover and its frame etc; complete as per direction of the Engineer-In-Charge.
34Providing andfixingin position 825 x 650 x 90 mm. reinforced concrete cover with Spring Fibreconforming toMD-10grade as per IS- 12592 (Part-I)-1988, to the handhole as per the drawing Nos. CD/04; bottom and side rim of the cover in M.S. sheet; necessary reinforcement welded to the M.S. sheet rim; welding wherever necessary; concrete mix in 1:1:2 ( 1 Cement : 1 Coarse sand : 2 graded stone aggregate 12.5 mm. nominal size) mixed with spring steel fibre (conforming to I.S- 12592 (Part-I)-1988 at 0.75% by volume of concrete; steel work shall be hot dipped galvanised;the necessary lifting arrangement; embossing of cover as required; filling grease in gaps between cover and frame; etc; as per direction of the Engineer-In-Charge.
35Raising of Manholeneck upto 300mm by dismantling and removing the existing frame, overlapping necessary reinforcement bars, providing R.C.C1:1.5:3 ( 1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand :3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size.) including necessary centering/shuttering required as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. ( Note: The rate includesnecessary straightening, welding holdfast etc to the outer frame of manhole cover andremoval of jammed manhole cover if any including transportation to the welding shop etc. Nothing extra shall be paid on any account.) (Reinforcement TMT Bars should be paid in relevent item)
36Manhole round opening 0.69m in diameter up to 300mm Neck Height.
37Raising of Handholeframeupto 300mmby dismantling and removing the existing frame, overlapping necessary reinforcement bars, providing R.C.C1:1.5:3 ( 1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand :3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size.) including necessary centering/shuttering required as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. ( Note: The rate includes necessary straightening, welding holdfast etc to the outer frame of handhole cover and also removal of jammed handhole cover if any including transportation to the welding shop etc. Nothing extra shall be paid on any account.)(Reinforcement TMT Bars should be paid in relevent item)
38Handholeframe of Size 1.20 M X 0.70 M upto 300mm
39Handholeframe of Size 1.80 M X 0.70 M upto 300mm
40Extra for additional height above 300mmof manhole neck/ Hand Hole more than the stipulated height in relevent items .(Reinforcement TMT Bars should be paid in relevent item)

45Searching ofburried manhole/handhole of any size, including demolishing of bitmnous / concrete/earthroad, disposal of debris to place as permitted by local body etc,, complete all as directed by E-I-C. ( Due care to be taken to avoide any damages to manhole /handhole, .Rate includescost of operation , labours etc. Nothingextra shall be paid on anyaccount.)
46Transportation of damaged/crushed covers from one site to another, from site to departmental store including removing loading unloading transportation fixing ctc. Complete as directed by E.I.C.
