| 10 | Data Concentrator Unit The data concentrator unit (DCU) shall collect the information from Smart meters and update to the HES. Also, DCU shall receive commands or updates from HES and send to the smart metes. DCU shall work with RF/ 4G/5G Communication. The No. ofmeters need to be connected to each DCU is 20 ( 10 Nos single phase and 10 Nos 3 phase) Expansion upto 100 meters shall be considered. ii) The No. ofData points, event records shall be stored as per relevant standards of REC documents. iii) Data retention period for cyclic recording etc. (As per REC standard documents) |
