21Providing and fixing double flanged MS/GI piping work (Layout to be approved by the Engineer in charge) for suction and delivery pipes suitable to pump(s) offered and common header as per the R/Main respectively complete with all specials such as bends, tees, reducers. Increasers with companions flanges matching with the relevant specifications of the accessories including rubber/asbestos gasket of minimum 3mm thckness as per IS:2712:1979 and required number of nuts and bolts as per Is:1364:1983, The Pipes fittings and joints shall be as per relevant IS code & to withstand 1.5 times total head stipulated under item No. 12. The size of the various components to be as under:
22a) Suction pipe: One dia higher then the suction of pump offered and suitable
23b) Delivery pipe: One dia higher then the delivery of the pump offered and
24c) Common header: One dia higher then delivery of pump will extend upto 5 mtr.
25Providing and laying copper PVC insulated arround power cable (One cable carrying all the three phases) of suitable size and capacity to motors and all other electircal equipments as per IS:1554(P-I) 1988 or latestupto date ammendments of siemens/GLOSTER /IEC/ICC/EICO/ NATIONAL/ GRANDLAY make including all other accessories such as thimbles, flexible pipes, solders.nuts and bolts cable glands etc. laid in pipes or trenches under floor.

31Providing ,laying, jointing and testing in trenches ( to be levelled to grades)BIS marked API pipe flanged pipeof following diametre conforming to BIS 3183-2007 (latest with upto date amendements) heaving minimumwall thickness as specified below of steel grade API 5 L factory galvanised jointed with flange confirming to table as specified below of BIS6392-1971 (with latest up to date amendments). 4065 mm dia RD 0-800 Thickness =4.80 mm (MSERW) Butt welding
41Laying, jointing ( by way of circumfrential butt welded jointsby electrical arc welding ) and testing of GMS pipe of following dia meters confirming to BIS 1239-1990, steel grade specified below(latest with upto date amendments) having wall thickness as specified below with bevelled ends and capable of withstanding required test pressure in a random length of 4 to 7 meters, including manufacturing reducers/ tapers , all short pieces, bends etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes . The laying of pipe will include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per relevant IS standards. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches will be measured and paid for separately).
