3Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m: All kinds of soil.
4Close timbering in trenches including strutting, shoring and packing cavities (wherever required) complete (Measurements to be taken of the face area timbered):
5Depth not exceeding 1.5 m.
6Depth exceeding 1.5 m but not exceeding 3 m.
7Open timbering in trenches including strutting and shoring complete (measurements to be taken of the face area timbered):
8Depth not exceeding 1.5 m.
9Depth exceeding 1.5 m but not exceeding 3 m.
10Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.
11Extra for every additional lift of 1.5 m or part thereof in excavation/ banking excavated or stacked materials:

13Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and inequalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m: All kinds of soil.
14Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.
15Centring and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for:
16Foundations, footings, bases for columns.
17Retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses fillets, kerbs and steps etc.
18Columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts and struts.
19Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centring and shuttering - Cement shall be free issue material. All work up to plinth level :

50Extra for cutting reinforcement bars manually/ by mechanical means in R.C.C. or R.B. work (Payment shall be made on the cross sectional area of R.C.C. or R.B. work) as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
51Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge:

53Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all loads including all lifts involved.
54TEMPORARY BARRICADING: Erecting temporarybarricading using MS pipes, clamps, GI wire, GIcorrugated sheets upto 10.0 metre height with maximum spacing between vertical members being 500mm and horizontal members being 400 mm includingembedding vertical members in ground, fixing sheetswith GI wire / J hooks, providing inclined members wherever directed. The item includes transportation of barricading materials from owner\"s store, returning thesame to owner\"s store after completion of the work, maintaining the barricading in good condition till completion of job etc. complete all as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge with all labour, materials, consumables like GIwire, J hooks, tools and tackles etc. except the cost of barricading materials like GI sheets, MS pipes and MS Clamps only which shall be issued free of cost fromowner\"s store.
55BUNDING WITH SAND FILLED BAGS: Bunding with sand filled empty cement bags (50Kg capacity) for maintaining and diverting the flow of water, for arresting breaches or making bunds, protection walls etc.whereverrequired as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including filling sand and stitching the bags, carting tothe site of work to any distance, keeping in position as directed, plugging holes, pading etc with all labour, materials, tools, plants etc. allcomplete. (Minimum 80% volume of bag to be filled with sand). Sand and empty cement bags to be supplied by the contractor.
56Dismantling manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge :
57Water bound macadam road.
58Bituminous road.
59Brick on edge flooring with bricks of class designation 7.5 on a bed of 12 mm cement mortar including filling the joints with same mortarwith common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks: (Cement shall be free issue material):
601:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand).
61Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete up to plinth level:
62Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars.
63Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface - Water thinnable cement primer.
64Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade-New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.84 kg/10 sqm).
65Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level) including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material:
66Beyond 30 cm girth up to and including 60 cm girth.
