2EARTH WORK EXCAVATION Earth work in excavation in all kind of soils by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means for all lifts including taking out and disposal of excavated earth for all leads within or outside site to unobjectionable place. In case of foundation trenches and drains, the work also includes dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms in all kind of soils for all lifts including taking out the excavated soil including providing timbering, shoring, strutting, dewatering as required & disposal of surplus excavated soil for all leads within or outside the site at an unobjectionable place . All work complete as per directions of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge Note: (a) Payment shall be restricted to PCC lines only for building works (b) Tenderers to note that initial & final level survey shall be undertaken jointly by the Contractor &/or representatives with IOC Site Engineer for calculation of earth volume using Simpson"s Rule in case of mass land development/ cutting works. (c) Tenderers to note that the scope of works inlcude provision of permanent & temporary bench marks (RCC pedestal of size 300 mm x 300 mm approx with necessary base plate) for land development/ cutting works as per the instructions of the Site Incharge.
3EXCAVATION TRENCHES Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets & dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms,depth upto 1.5m including getting out excavated soil & then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing surplus excavated soil as directed, within or outside site at unobjectionable place in all kind of Soils All work complete as per directions of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge Note: Payment shall be restricted to PCC lines only.
4BACK FILLING EXCAVATED EARTH Filling available excavated earth in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations, embankment etc. for all leads and lifts in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, under optimum moisture conditions to give at least 95% of the maximum dry density (proctor density) using Ordinary Roller or Vibratory Roller as applicable of 8 to 10 ton capacity. Where compaction is not possible with Vibratory Roller then plate compactor or other meachnical means etc. may be used as per directions of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge All work complete as per directions of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge
5FILLING LOCAL EARTH Supply & filling imported earth of approved quality, inplot, trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. for all leads and lifts in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth each deposited layer by ramming and watering. Item includes compaction using Ordinary Roller or Vibratory Roller as applicable of 8 to 10 ton capacity for earth work in under optimum moisture conditions to give at least 95% of the maximum dry density (Proctor Density). Where compaction is not possible with Vibratory Roller then plate compactor or other meachnical means etc. may be used as per directions of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge All work complete as per directions of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge Note: (a) Tenderer to note that initial & final level survey shall be undertaken jointly by the Contractor &/or representatives with IOC Site Engineer. (b) Tenderers to note that the scope of works inlcude provision of permanent & temporary bench marks (RCC pedestal of size 300 mm x 300 mm approx with necessary base plate) as per the instructions of the Site Incharge. (c) Tenderers to note that approval from IOC shall be obtained for the imported earth & quarry used for mass filling & necessary test reports from a Govt Engg Colleges/Universities have to be submiited for the parameters specified by IOC prior to undertaking filling in the site. (d) Item rate is inclusive of applicable Royalty for the imported earth/ Specific approval to be obtained from concerned Statutory Authorities. Necessary Royalty receipts/ NOC to be submitted by the Contractor (f) Net quantity of compacted earth shall be paid & no compensation whatsoever on account of subsidence of soil etc shall be permitted.
6FILLING SAND Supplying and filling of Local Coarse Sand within grading zone II/III in plinth, sand pand foundation, under floors, pipeline corridors, landscaping, drain beds etc. as per approved specifications for all leads and lifts in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, each deposited layer to be compacted by ramming including watering, consolidating and dressing complete. Item includes compaction using Ordinary Roller or Vibratory Roller as applicable of 8 to 10 ton capacity or other mechanical means for earth work in under optimum moisture conditions to give at least 95% of the maximum dry density (Proctor Density). All work complete as per directions of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge Note: For Sand pad foundations only coarse sand of Zone III to be provided and Zone II is not acceptable. Each deposited layer shall be compacted by mechanical vibration and watering to achieve minimum relative density 95 %. Last layer of sand pad to be prepared in desired slope.
7RUBBLE SOLING Providing and laying dry stone hard rubble Soling (average 230 mm thick over an area)under floor, ramps, walls, foundations, trenches etc. & for similarsituationsat plinth level / below plinth level including laying in regularlines, levels, interstices filled with smaller stones/ chips ofappropriatesize and sand consolidated with copious watering as specified & finished to the required levels etc. All work complete as per directions of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge
8ANTI TERMITE TREATMENT Providing and injecting chemical emulsion anti-termite treatment & creating a chemical barrier under & around column pits, wall trenches, basement excavation, top surface of plinth filling,junction of wall and floor, alongexternal perimeter of building,expansion joints, surrounding of pipes & conduits etc.@ 1 litre per hole , 300 mm apart inlcuding drilling 20 mm dia holes complete as perIS specifications (IS:6313) or confirming to manufacturer specifications, whichever is stringent. This work also includes treatment of soil under existing floors using chemical emulsion @ one litre per hole, 300 mm apart including drilling 12 mm diameter holes and plugging with cement mortar 1 :2 (1 cement : 2 Coarse sand) to match the existing floor With Chlorpyriphos/Lindane E.C. 20% with 1% concentration or equivalent or as per manufacturer specifications, whichever is stringent. All work complete as per directions of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge
9SAND PAD FOUNDATION Supplying and providing sand pad foundations for the RCC digesters (28 m dia) as per detailed specifications and drawings All work complete as per directions of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge Note: Item to be operated from FGL of the area for a height of 1 m as per the cross sectional drawings given in the tender and specifications enclosed. For sand filling below the FGL, the same shall be measured and paid under respective item of the price bid.
10DAMP PROOF COURSE Providing and laying damp-proof course 40mm thick with cement concrete1:2:4(1cement:2coarsesand:4gradedstone aggregate 12.5mm nominal size). Item includes mixing water proofing material in cement concrete work @ 1 kg per 50kg of cement. Applying a coat of residual petroleum bitumen of grade VG-10 of approved quality using 1.7kg per square metre on damp proof course aftercleaning the surface with brushes & finally with a piece of cloth lightly soaked in kerosene oil. All work complete as per directions of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge
11PLINTH PROTECTION Making plinth protection 50mm thick of cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement :3 coarse sand : 6graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) over 75mm bed by dry brick ballast 40mm nominal size well rammedandconsolidatedandgroutedwith finesandincluding finishing the top smooth. All work complete as per directions of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge
12SHUTTERING Centeringand shutteringincludingstrutting,proppingetc. and removal of form work for PCC/RCC/Mass Concrete in the following items (with Props or Tubular/ MS Structure or Metallic sheets or 12 mm thk waterproof ply, with necessary bolting, screwing as applicable, applying adequate coats of oil on internal face of shuttering) as per enclosed specifications. All work complete as per directions of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge

18PCC AND RCC WORKS Plain & Reinforced Concrete Works (PCC/RCC): Providing and laying in position, machine batched, machine mixed design mix of specific grade of cement concrete for plain/ reinforced cement concrete work, using cement as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement. including Admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS 9103 to accelerate/retard setting of concrete,improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge. (Minimum Cement content shall be as specified for individual grade of Concrete. Less cement used as per design mix is recoverable separately). All work complete as per directions of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge Note: (a) Batch mixing plant of capacity to be approved by Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge for the works shall be installed by the Contractor at site along with required NOCs from concerned Authorities. Alternately, Contractor shall also be permitted to use RMC (if available as per required design or volumetric mix) at no extra cost to IOC & after obtaining prior approval from Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge. (b) Contractor shall be permitted to convert design mix of concrete to be arrived at based on laboratory testing into suitable volumetric mix in to order to achieve required design strength. (c) Mixing of concrete shall be with Weigh Batch mixing plant (stationary and mobile as per site requirements) of adequate capacity to be approved by Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge. Mechanical mixer can be used for placing concrete up to 5 CUM/ shift with specific approval of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge. (d) Hacking of exposed surface of green concrete (wherever applicable) as Key to plaster shall be done at no extra cost to IOC. Item rate is inclusive of necessary surface finishes like broom/ rough/ brush finish as per the scope of works & directions of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge. (e) Curing of concrete inlcuding supplying & providing water & Compaction as required using needle or plate or screed vibrators as applicable and shall be part of the rates. (f) Item to be operated for all types of floors, footings, walls, beams, columns, attached pilasters, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor, pipe/ drain culverts, Cable tunnel or other concrete structures as required at site at all levels. Payment shall be made as per drawing dimensions. (g) Item rate is inclusive of Submitting Design Mix reports & test reports from Govt Engg Colleges/Universities as per the directions of the Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge. (h) For RCC, Steel reinforcement shall be measured and paid under respective item of the price schedule.

26EXPANSION JOINT Providing and making expansion joint 25 mm wide including supplying & providing 25 mm thick bitumen impregnated fiber board (Shalitex of M/s.Shalimar or approved equivalent). The top 15mm of the joint shall be cleaned and filled with NITOFLOR FC 140 putty sealing compound (M/s.Fosroc/ Pidilite or equivalent) including cleaning, etc complete as per drawings and as per directions of the site engineer / Engineer In Charge. 27PVC WATER STOP Providing& Placingin position suitable PVC water stops (Serrated with central bulb (225mm wide, 8-11mm thick) conforming to IS:12200 for construction/ expansion joints between two RCC members and fixed to the reinforcement with binding wire before pouring concrete etc. complete : All work complete as per directions of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge
28REINFORCEMENT STEEL Supply of Reinforcement for RCC including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position & binding all complete at all levels using Thermo Mechanically Treated (TMT) Bars Fe 500 grade or above,Conforming to IS1786. All work complete as per directions of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge Note: a. Rateincludes the cost of binding wire, laps, chairs & spacer barswhich shall not be measured for the purpose of payment. b. Reinforcement shall range from6 mm dia to 32 mm dia as per drawings. c. 48CEMENT CONCRETE FLOORING Providing 52 mm thick cement concrete flooring with concrete hardener topping under layer 40 mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) and top layer 12 mm thick cement hardener consisting of mix 1:2 (1 cement hardener mix :2gradedstoneaggregate6mmnominalsize)byvolume, hardening compound is mixed @ 2 litre per 50kg of cement or as per manufacturers specifications. 50FALSE FLOORING Providing and fixing removable raised/false access flooring with system and its components of approved make for 450 mm Finished Floor Height (FFH) (Plenum height ) with possible height adjustment up to 50 mm, comprising of modular load bearing floor panels supported on G.I. rectangular stinger frame work and G.I.Pedestal etc. all complete, as per the architectural drawings,as specified and as directed by Site Engineer/ Engineer-incharge consisting of : a) Providing at required spacing to form modular framework, pedestals made out of GI tube of thickness minimum 2 mm and 25 mm outer diameter, fully welded on to the G.I. Base plate of size 100mmx100mmx3mm at the bottom of the pedestal tube, G.I. pedestal head of size 75mmx75mmx3.5 mm welded with GI fully threaded stud 16mm outer diameter with two GI Check nuts screwed on the stud for level adjustment up to 50mm, locking and stabilizing the pedestal head in position at the required level. The pedestals shall be fixed to the subfloor (base) through base plate using epoxy based adhesive of approved make or the machine screw with rawl plug. b) Stringers system in all steel construction hot dipped galvanized of rectangular size 570x20x30x0.80mm thick having holes at both ends for securing the stringers on to the pedestal head using fully threaded screws ensuring maximum lateral stability in all directions, the grid formed by the pedestal and stringer assembly shall receive the floor panel, this system shall provide adequate solid, rigid support for access floor panel, the system shall provide a minimum clear uninterrupted clearance between the bottom of the floor for electrical conduits and wiring etc. all complete as per the architectural drawings, as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. c) Providing and fixing Access Floor panel of 600x600x32 mm medium grade Filled Steel anti static high pressure Lamination of 800H grade (FS800H). Access Floor panel shall be steel welded construction with an enclosed bottom pan with uniform pattern of 64 hemispherical cones.The top and bottom plates of Steel Gauges: top 0.6 mm and bottom 0.7 mm fused spot welded together (minimum 64 welds in each dome and 20 welds along each flange). The panel should be Corroresist epoxy coated for lifetime rust protection and cavity formed by the top and bottom plate is filled with Pyrogrip non-combustible Portland cementitious core mixed with lightweight foaming compound. The access floor shall be factory finished with Anti-static High Pressure laminate with Non Warp technology up to 1mm thickness for superior adhesion and Surface flatness within 0.75mm. The panel is to withstand a Concentrated Load of 363 kgs applied on area 25mm x 25mm without collapse in the centre of the panel which is placed on four steel blocks. The panel will withstand and Uniformly Distributed Load (UDL) minimum 1250 kg/sqm and an impact load of 50kg all complete as per the approved manufacturers specification and as per the direction of Site Engineer/ Engineer-incharge. Note: All specification must be printed on the side of the panel to ensure the quality of the product
51RUBBER MAT Providing Shock/Sound/Fire proof/ Anti-slip/ Hard wearing/floor made of Rubber (recycled SBR) mat of approved make & nominal thickness 20 mm over Structural flooring in Control Room area including laying, jointing with adhesives, finsihing etc complete & as per the directions of the Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge
52ACID / ALKALI TILES Providing and fixing with 10 mm thick acid and/or alkali resistant tiles of approved make and colour using acid and/or alkali resisting mortar bedding, and joints filled with acid and/or alkali resisting cement as per IS : 4457, complete as per the direction of Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge. 57APP Providing and laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer, 3mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with glass fibre matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 ltr/sqm. by the same membrane manufactured of density at 25°C, 0.87 - 0.89 kg/ltr and viscosity 70 - 160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using butane torch and sealing all joints etc., and preparing the surface complete. 139GALVALUME STEEL Providing and fixing  Klippon Galvalume steel profile sheets for following items (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Site Engineer / Engineer In Charge) of Cold rolled steel confirming to IS:513-2008 of base metal thickness 0.50 mm, having Yield Stress of Min. 275 MPa. Steel surface shall have hot dip metallic coating of Al-Zinc alloy comprising 55% Alluminium, 43.5% Zinc and 1.5% Silicon as per the ASTM-A792M, with total mass of coating on both sides shall be 150 gms/sqm. The steel shall have organic coating with Silicon Modified Polyester (SMP) /Super Durable Polyester (SDP) paint on continuous coil coating line. The thickness of coating on top side shall be 20-25 Microns (i.e. 15-18 microns SMP /SDP paint over 5-7 microns epoxy primer) and back side 8-10 Microns SMP/SDP paint over epoxy primer. Total Coated Thickness (TCT) shall be 0.58 MM. 150ROLLING SHUTTER Supplying and fixing rolling shutters of approved make, made  of required size M.S. laths interlocked together through their entire length, jointed together at the end by end locks mounted on specially designed pipe shaft with brackets, side guides and arrangements for inside and outside locking with push and pull operation complete including the cost of providing and fixing necessary 27.5cm long wire springs manufactured from high tensile steel wire of adequate strength conforming to IS 4454 Part-I & M.S. top cover of required thickness for rolling shutters:- 80x1.25mm MS laths with1.25 mm thick top cover. 177GLOW STUD Providing & fixing Glow Studs of size 100 mm x 20 mm made of heavy duty body, moulded Acrylic Styrene Acryloretrite (ASA) or High Impact Polystyrene (PIS) having electronically welded micro-prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating. The glow stude shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro-reflective surface shall be 35 (+/- 5 degree) to the base.
