2Laying jointing with Circumferencial Butt welded joints by electrical arc welding (welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness). Conforming to IS 1239-1990 (Part-ll), having wall thickness as specified below capable of with standing required test pressure, including manufacturing and febrication of reducers/ taper, (Eart work in trenche will be measured and paid for sprarately) and all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing,febrication of rees i.e. lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level inculding flusing, clearing and hydrauil testing complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani oerlikon/L&T or ISI marked make. The damaged portion of the pipe and all the specials (if damaged during L/J operation of pipe) made form the parent tube shall be provided anticorrosive paint over a priming coat as p[er AWWA specification C-203-1978.The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flusing, cleaning complete in all respect and to the best satifation and direction of Engineer-in-charge with in all lead and lifts.

4Providing MS flanges (In pairs)for the joints ofG.I. pipes mentioned as below and same shall conform toBIS 6392-1971 ( latest with up to date amendments) including the cost ofnuts and bolts of required sizes, 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber/synthetic rubber gaskets conforming to relevant BIS standardsand it shall also include carriage of materials within all leads and lifts complete in all respectto the best satisfaction and direction of Engineer in charge.

6Supply of Submersible pumping set of KSB / kirlskar/Sabar/Johnston/Kalama /Crompton make conforming to BIS: 8034-1978 (Latest with upto date ammendments ) fitted with bronze impellers/suitable alloy directly coupled to swuirrell case electric induction motor of same make as that of pump conforming to BIS 9283-1979.(Latest with upto date ammendments ) and totally water proof for submersible duly isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber, grease packed lubricated bearings 7 provided with steel thrust bearing plate to with stand vertical loads with minimum wear & tear. it should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor including wate level guard, errection clamps, chips & depth gauge etc the pump shall besuitable of roperation for operation on data given below.

(One well act as stand by),xiii, capacity 12.58LPS for each pump (One well act as stand by),xiv,Static head in mtrs 70 meters,xv, Total head in metres 90.861 metres,xvi,Length of R/Main 850 metres, xvii, Discharge required 0.39 LPS each set, Dia of Rising main 32mm dia, xix, No of pumping hours per day 16 Hrs,xx,Limit of pump operation. 8Providing and fixing of double flanged cast iron sluice valve heavy size one dia higher than pump size to delivery pump class PN 1.6 of Kirloskar /kilburn /Leader make conforming to BIS latest with upto date ammendmetns having seat pressure 16.32 /cm2 .Complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer in charge .
9Providing and fixingof Kirloskar/ kilburn/Leader make cast iron double flanged swing check type reflux valve having bye-pass arangement (to be provided on delivery side) of sizeone dia. Higher than pump size to delivery of pumpand capable of with standing nominal seat pressure of16.32 kg/cm2PN-1.6 IS: 5312
10Providing and layingPVC insulated jointless flat water proofcopper cable of Siemens/Finolex/Gloster /Grandlay makeconforming to BIS 1554 (part-I) –1988 of latest with upto date amendments of suitable size for the pump sets offered ( (one cable carrying all three phases) including all other electrical equipment/accessories such as thimbles, flexible pipe solder, nuts and bolts, cable glands, etc. laid in pipes of trenches under floor. The type, size and make will be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities. In case of non acceptance by HPSEB authorities it shall have to be replaced by the tenderer.
11On supply side of 3½ core copPer cable 10.00 mm2(From HPSEB meter to switch & starter)
12On motor side 3 core flat joint less copper cable of size 6.00 mm2 (From switch & starter to Motor ) pump installed in the P/Well.
13Providing and laying Column assembly of MSERW /GI pipe considering site requirement and having appropriate size in accordance with the delivery size of pumping set.The pipe shall conform to relevent BIS code & capable of with standing the field test pressure equal to 1.50 time the operating pressure including all type of fittings such as bends,tapers / reducers,flanges,rubbergaskets 3 mm thick,nuts & bolts and any other fitting required atsiteand work shall be to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge

31Providing and laying cement concrete 1:3:6(1cement:3sand:6 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size and curing completeexcluding the cost of form work in foundation and plinth in all leads and lifts.
32Providing form work with steel plated 3.15mm thick welded with angle iron in frame 30x30x5mm, so as to give a fair finish including centring,shuttering,strutting and propping etc. with wooden battens and ballies height of propping and centering below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4 meters and removal of the same for insitu-reinforced concrete and plain.

35Flat surfaces such as soffits of suspended floors, roofs, landings and the like floors etc. upto 200mm in thickness as per direction and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.
36Providing and laying cement concrete 1:1.5:3(1cement:1.5sand:3 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)and curing complete excluding the cost of form work and reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in:-
37In foundation, footings, basis of columns and the like and mass concrete in all leads and lifts as per direction and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.
38Walls (any thickness) but not less than 0.10cm thickness including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses from top of foundation upto all floor level as per direction and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.
39Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1cement:2sand:4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size )and curing completeexcluding the cost of form work and reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in :
40Suspended floors, roofs, landings and shelves and their supports, balconies, beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers uptofloor two level as per direction and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.
41Providing Laying mild or tor steel reinforcement for RCC. Work including bending binding and placing in position complete upto floor two level Tor steel in all leads and lifts.
42Providing and fixing cast iron manhole cover 500 mm dia (medium duty)with frame weight not less than 116 kg (weight of frame 58 kg and weight )in all leads and lifts.
43Providng and fixing cast iron vent pipe 100 mm dia .Complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.
44Laying and jointing ofGI Pipe Light /Midium class for inlet /out let pipe/over flow pipe 80 mm dia .Complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.
45Providing and fixing sluice valve (with hand wheel )as per IS Specifaction 80 mm dia .Complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.
46Steel work welded in built up sections, trusses and fremed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of red lead paint In gretings, framed guards, bars ladders railingsbrackets and similar works as per direction and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge
47Construction of chamber for sluice valve with CI surface box 100mm top dia m160mm bottom diametres and 180mm deep (inside with chainedlid & RCC top slab 1:2:4 mix (One Cement:Two sand:four graded stone aggregate20mm nominal size )100mm thick foundationconcrete1:5:10(one cement:Five sand:Ten graded stone aggregate 40mm nominalsize)& insideplasteringwith cement mortor 1:3(One cement:Three sand) with floating coatof neat cementincludingcuring complete 900x900x1000mm in side size: With 150mm thickwalls of RCC 1:2:4mix(one cement:Two sand:four graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)complete with form workand reinforcementwith 6mm bars at notexceeding 150mm centres both ways, as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge with in all leads and lifts.
48Finishing wall with water proofing cement paint of approved brand and manufacture and of requiredshade on decorated wall surfaces(one coat) to give an even shade after throughly brushing the surface to removealldirt, dust & removing of loose material as per direction and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge with in all leads and lifts.
