| 4 | Removal blade bearing cover, slacken large bolts on blade actuating level, hang blade on chain block, expand blade actuating lever and remove axial holding plate, lower blade, move blade to workshop. Remove gland ring and remove packing ring with seals and installations |
| 5 | Disconnect and remove push rods, remove control rod sleeve, lift and remove control rod |
| 6 | Remove all pipes to servomotors, remove complete servomotor from propeller housing, place servomotor in upright position, separate front cover / piston from cylinder, remove large castle – nut and remove all parts check outer piston and cylinder & check condition of fitted key and valve pin dimensions |
| 7 | Remove oil from Tacke coupling, hang the intermediate shaft on chain block, remove the bolts, shift and store |
| 8 | Remove all pipelines lead to the Lub oil cooler and pump, clean the pipelines |
| 9 | Remove cooler, clean and pressure test |
| 10 | Remove inner bearing bush from control rod support in order to avoid jamming teeth during removal.Hang gearbox with shackles at lifting lugs and remove the bolts from housing and shift. |
| 11 | Remove control rod from housing shift.Dismantle central bearing bush and if required do machining of bushes to match the surface area.Dismantle Lower bearing bush and machine the bushes for matching surface |
| 12 | Remove control rod support from propeller housing & remove bevel gear check gland ring at bottom of control rod support.Renew the gland ring if scoring marks observed. |
| 13 | Remove upper thrust rings, Lift up rotor casing with chain hoist, Remove thrust plate, Lower rotor casing, Remove lower thrust ring. Remove bearing flange, Remove main seals from bearing flange, Remove main roller bearing from bearing flange |
| 14 | Install main seals in bearing carrier, install main roller bearing, install bearing carrier in VSP, touch-up paint a bottom of bearing carrier and VSP housing |
| 15 | Dismantle driving sleeve from rotor and shift. Lift up the kinematics from rotor casing and clean the kinematics |
| 16 | Dismantle control valve block and clean, renew if necessary |
| 17 | Install kinematics into rotor and assemble all the parts.Painting of bearing carrier and rotor casing |
| 18 | Install rotor drive sleeve, new main seal gland ring, & inner ring for main roller bearing. Renewal of all the rubber parts |
| 19 | Prepare and hook up chain hoist, Lift up rotor casing into propeller |
| 20 | Install lower thrust ring, thrust plate, upper thrust ring and measure axial clearance, adjust if necessary |
| 21 | Install bevel gear, pinion gear support & reduction gear box |
| 22 | Install control rod, servomotors connecting rods |
| 23 | Gearbox installation |
| 24 | Intermediate shaft installation |
| 25 | Install housing cover, connect inner linkages, Connect control linkage to ship controls and position of linkages systems with respect wheel house. Correct if necessary. Fill the linkage system with Grease |
| 26 | Assembly of blade housing at work shop. |
| 27 | Fitment of Blades into rotor housing |
| 28 | Install gearbox piping, install servo cylinder piping and install lubricating piping |
| 29 | Check the NRV valve of air ventilation systems and clean check the seating. |
| 30 | Oil filling and pressure test |
| 31 | Installation of Voith Housing and Torqueing of bolts. |
| 32 | Alignment of shaft line and Main engines, if required. |
