1Excavation in foundation trenches etc. in earth work in all kinds of soil such as pick work,jumper work,blasting in soft and hard rock and chiselling work including saturated soil slushy soil and under floor upto all depth and stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 metre clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 centimetre (Fifteen centimetre) layer when required into plinth sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed by the Engineer-in-charge within all leads and lifts.
2Providing and laying cement concrete 1:5:10 (One cement is to five sand is to ten graded stone aggregate 40 milimetre nominal size) with 15% plum and curing completed excluding the cost of form work in retaining walls/breast walls, the size of plums shall usually be 150 milimetre to 300 milimetre as per CPWD specification within all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
3Providing form work with steel plates 3.15 milimetre thick welded with angle iron in frame 30x30x5 milimetre so as to give a fair finish including centring,shuttering,strutting and propping etc. with wooden battens ballies,height of propping and centring below supporting floor two ceiling not exceeding 4 metre and removal of the same for in-situ-reinforced concrete and plain concrete work in:-
4a) Vertical surfaces such as walls(any thickness)partitions walls and the like including attached pillasters,buttreses plinth string courses and the like within all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
5Laying and jointing and commissioning of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene pipes) of following diametre confirmng to IS 4984-1995 with fusion welding process including all necessary fitting in all leads and lift to the entire satisfacton of Engineer-in-charge.a) 315 milimetre dia. PN 4.00, PE80.
6Providing,laying and jointing and commissioning of PVC control valve of reputed make in outlet chamber to control the water for distribution system in all leads and lift to the entire satisfacton of Engineer-in-charge. a) 315 milimetre dia PN 4.00, PE80.
7Providing , laying, jointingwith circumfrential butt welded jointsby electrical arc welding (welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness)and welding M.S. flanges at every 100 mtr pipes and testing ofMSERW pipe makeTata/Jindal/Surya Roshani of following dia meters confirming to BIS 3183-2007 (latest with upto date amendments) having wall thickness as specified belowand capable of withstanding required test pressure in a random length of 5.5 to 6.5 meters,including manufacturing reducers/ tapers, all short pieces, etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes . The laying of pipe shall also includeflanged joints duly welded in three layers (two inner one outer), where ever required as per the directions of the Enginer-in-charge ( Earth work in trenchesand the cost of providing flanges i/c nuts & bolts & gasket will bemeasured and paid for seperately) and alloperations such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication oftees i.e. lowering & laying inexcavated Trenches to ensure required level i/c flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per relevant IS standards and the damaged portion of the pipes and specials ( if damaged during laying jointing operation of pipe) made form the parent tube , shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing , DP test of butt welded joints complete in all respect andto the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.Note:- Negetive Tolerance should not be more than +/- 3%.a) 250 milimetre dia. T-5
