Name of Work: Work of maintaining power factor and Hiring of power capacitor for various electric connections (Pump House / Tube Well / Open Wells etc.) under the jurisdiction of Project Division Sardarsahar
Sl. No. Item Description
1Providing and installation of capacitor for maintaining and improvement of power factor which includes arrangement and installation of required capacitors of desired capacitors in panel and connect them to the existing electric installation on rent basis for HT and MIP connection. power factor should be maintain to more than the desired limit of 0.90 as per scope of work.
2Providing and installation of shunt capacitors for maintaining & to avoid shunt capacitor surcharges on SIP connections which includes maintaining and improvement of power factor and arrangement with insalation of required capacity of shunt capacitors in panel i.e. of minimum KVAR capacity equivalent to 50% or rated capacity of motors in HP or to improve monthly average power factor to 0.95 and connect them to the existing installation on rent basis for SIP connection power factor should be maintained to more than the desired limit to 0.90 and shunt capacitor surcharges to be avoided as per scope of work.
