4MECHANICAL WORKS FOR NEW FLOATING ROOF/ CONE ROOF STORAGE TANKS Transportation of all materials from owner"s storage location to worksite, rolling, fabrication, erection and welding of all steel plates for bottom, shell, floating roof, wind girders of all tanks and providing all manholes, nozzles etc. fittings and fixing of all appurtenances, instruments, accessories, sealing devices, safety devices etc. carrying out all structural work and all other work required for the roof structures, pipe supports, stairways, hand rails, landing platforms, rolling ladder and other components of the tanks, earthing of tank parts and overall earthing of tanks as per approved scheme, installation of side entry tank mixers, providing still pipes for anti rotational device, radar type level gauges, temperature measurement and support brackets and structural support for level indicator, providing supports brackets for foam pourer, providing deflector plates at secondary wind girder level for the cooling water, providing nozzles for levelalarms including supply of materials, tools and tackles, labour etc. Supplying and providing 200mm diameter roof drains with SS304 inner layer carcass and outer layer of polyamide/Nylon, resistant to sour crude operations, having repetitive lay pattern without any external support etc. including supply of all materials (other than owner supplied materials) appurtenances, accessories, labour etc. required for the work complete in all respect for oil storage tanks in accordance with the tender specification / drawings / stipulations and as per the instructions of the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The MS plates for bottom, shell, roof, extension plates, reinforcement pads plates for shell manholes, foam dam; structurals; mechanical & instrument equipment & fittings etc. will be supplied by the owner as per drawing and specifications. All other labour and materials etc. shall be arranged by the contractor at his cost. The hydrotest, calibration, Pneumatic test, Radiography, Stress Relieving and other NDT charges, shall be paid in separate item rate. Requirement of heavy equipment to be envisaged by Engineer-in-Charge and to be arranged separately, if required, as the same in not included in the item rate. Requirement of scaffolding to be envisaged and decided by Engineer-in-Charge as per site requirement and scaffolding item to be paid separately.
5MECHANICAL WORKS FOR NEW FLOATING ROOF/ CONE ROOF STORAGE TANKS
6DYE PENETRATION TEST FOR PIPING WORKS Performance of dye penetration test including supply of all necessary materials, penetrant, developer etc. along with all equipment’s, labour, for carrying out the work as per specification and direction of engineer -in-charge at all elevations. Test has to be carried out in all metallurgy the test has to carry out on all schedules of pipes.

8RADIOGRAPHY OF PIPING WORKS Performance of radiographic inspection on all type and sizing of piping/ pipe fittings in position at all heights inclusive of providing sources, film, chemicals, and all necessary equipment, consumables etc. complete in all respect as per specification and instruction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

10HYDRAULIC TESTING OF THE TANK The job includes hydraulic testing of the tank to identify leaksincluding all connected jobs like blinding / de-blinding, temporary piping arrangements to fill in and empty out the water and complete the job in all respectas per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge, including all labour, tools, tackles, consumables, supervision, machineries, instruments (duly calibrated) etc. Repetitive hydrotesting of tank to be carried out if required on account of repair or for roof floatation test as per Inspection requirement. Requirement of scaffolding to be envisaged and decided by Engineer-in-Charge as per site requirement and scaffolding item to be paid separately.

12PNEUMATIC TEST OF TANK BOTTOM / ROOF The job includes vacuum / pneumatic testing of the tank bottom / roof surface to identify leaks including all connected jobs of blinding, de-blinding etc. and all tools, tackles, consumable, labour, supervision and supply of Air Compressor and complete the job in all respect as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
13PNEUMATIC TEST OF TANK BOTTOM / ROOF
14CALIBRATION OF TANKS Calibration of the tank as per IS-2007 and IS-2008, preparing the calibration sheets on standard forms showing strapping details, ca lculation details and other relevant details including bottom calibration after taking measurement of dead wood etc. and certified by CPWD or Weights and Measures Department or any other equivalent government authority with all labour, tools & tackles, consu mables, instruments (duly calibrated) and delivery of calibration charts to the Engineer-in-Charge. Fee for calibration of tank to be paid separately as per actuals against valid documents. Requirement of scaffolding to be envisaged and decided by Engineer-in-Charge as per site requirement and scaffolding item to be arranged/ paid separately.

16HEAT TREATMENT Heat treatment of shop fabricated for already installed piping / static equipment etc. for joints or other operations wherever required. Heating to be carried out in a furnace or by using an electric resistance or induction heating equipment ensuring uniform temperature attainment at all points of the portion being heat-treated. The portion under heat treatment shall be wrapped suitably under insulation to avoid any harmful temperature gradient. The temperature thus attainted in the portion under heat treatment shall be recorded by means of thermocouples, pyrometer and an automatic temperature recorders suitably calibrated should be employed. The calibration chart of each recorder along with hardness test results shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge for approval. The details of heat treatment such as heating rate, soaking temperature pause period and cooling rate etc. to be carried out as per relevant standards / code as instructed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

18STEEL SCAFFLODING (MATERIALS IN CONTRACTOR"S SCOPE) The job includes supply of all scaffolding materials, transportation to work site, erection of scaffolding at site covering the areas specified as per ISMS-1007 safety standards and dismantling scaffolding after completion of job and taking away the scaffolding material including supply of all tools, tackles, consumables, labours and contractor"s supervision as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge Note: 1. For measurement in SQM: 2 (length + width) X height area covered by the scaffolding is to be taken. 2. Scaffolding measurement to be done by breaking the height into parts as per height slab mentioned below and adopting respective rates against mentioned height slabs

Above scope also includes preparation of fabrication drawings and getting them approved from IOCL approved TPIA.

100Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective overhead signage boards made up of 2mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity and encapsulated lens type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to Type - III of ASTM-D-4956-01 as approved by Engineer-in- charge, letters, borders etc. as per IRC : 67-2001 in silver white with blue colour back ground and with high intensity grade, pasted on substrate by pressure sensitive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying pressure conforming to Class II of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same to the plate of structural frame work by means of suitable sized aluminium alloys, rivets or bolts & nuts @ 300 mm centre to centre all along the periphery as well as in two vertical rows along with theft resistant measures, including the cost of painting with two or more coats of epoxy paint in grey colour on the back side of aluminium sheet including appropriate priming coat. The rate includes the cost of rounding off the corners, lowering down the structural frame work from the gantry, fixing and erecting the same in position all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.(Structural frame work including M.S. plate to be provided separately. Rectangular area of the sheet only shall be measured for payment) - Overhead informatory road signage.
