Making Necessary Arrangement Mobilization & Demobilization Of Equipment Tools & Plant, Personnel Etc. Required For Soil Investigation And Their Removal After Satisfactory Completion Of Work, In Land Including Slushy Areas. 2. Shifting Of Entire Arrangement From One Bore To Another Bore Hole Location And Setting Of Boring / Drilling Rig As Required ( 06 Nos Bore Holes ) .Part-Ii Field Tests3.Boring 150 Mm Dia Bore Holes To Any Type Of Soil / Rock To A Depth Of 15M For Type Iii Md Accn ( 4 Nos Of Bore ) , 15M For Ug Sump ( 2 Nos Of Bore ) & 6M Depth Pump Room ( 1 Nos Of Bore ) Below The Ground Level By Using Rotary Drill Method In Terms Of Is:1892 ( 07 Nos Bore Holes ) ( Min 3.0 M In Rock If Rock Is Encountered During Any Of The Boring, Accordingly Bore Depth May Go Up, But Not Less Than As Mentioned For Each Type Of Bore ) .4. PART-II FIELD TESTS 3.Boring 150 mm dia bore holes to any type of soil/Rock to a depth of 15M for Type III Md Accn (4 Nos of bore), 15M for UG Sump (2 Nos of bore) & 6M depth Pump room (1 Nos of bore) below the ground level by using rotary drill method in terms of IS:1892 (07 Nos Bore holes) (Min 3.0 M in rock if rock is encountered during any of the boring, accordingly bore depth may go up, but not less than as mentioned for each type of bore). 4. Collection of undisturbed soil sample (UDS) at 3.0m intervals or at any change of stratas in 100 mm bore thin walled tube including waxing, sealing, packing, and transporting to the lab (07 Nos Bore holes). 5. Carrying out Standard Penetration Test (SPT) including collection of disturbed soil samples in bore holes at every 1.50M depth or any change of strata and submit the report with all requisite data (07 Nos Bore holes) 6. Collecting water samples from all Bore holes.
27.Excavation of trial Pit of size 1.2m x 1.2m x Depth of foundation for carrying our soil classification as per IS code, specify the location of water table, detemine the influence of ground water seepage on Structure if available determine whether fill material is present at the site or not and specify its depth it exists etc. (No of Pit-01) PART- III: LABORATORY TESTS as per IS: 1892 (For all 7 Nos Bore holes) 8) Conducting necessary (laboratory) tests on all collected samples (for all 5 bore holes) which includes the determination of: (a) Atterburg limits. (b) Natural moisture content. (c) Wet and dry density. (d) Soil/Particle size using sieve hydrometer analysis. (e)Tri-axial shear test C&D. (f) Shrinkage limit. (g)Consolidation test. (h) Crushing strength of rock samples,degree of weathering(CR Value) and ROD of rock samples. (j)Permeability test (k) Chemical analysis on Soil samples (l)Chemical analysis on Water samples (m)Standard and Modified Protocor"s density test (n) Vane shear test (o) Salinity test (p)Grain size analysis, identification & classification of soil. 3Part- IV: REPORT 9. Completing and analysis of laboratory and fields test results along with detailed recommendation duly vetted by IIT/NIT/Govt Engg. College for selection of type of foundation with supporting design details of requirement including following. Calculate: (a)For open/ raft foundations, SBC at D- 1.5m, 2m, 2.5m & 3m form shear as well as settlement criteria. SBC value shall be calculated based on C-Phi analysis as well as SPT value. For Calculations, formulae given inIS: 6403 shall be used.
