| 23 | The procedure for external repair and crack filling treatment is as under :- (a)Clean the surface properly mechanically so that no loose foreign materials exit on the surface, (b)Cut the crack in V groove, & drill upto 70 % of the concrete depth at every 0 .5 mt with adrill bitof min 12mm, (c)Fix PVC nozzlesinto the holes with the help of Renderoc Plug, (d)By using Hand pump pressure grout Cement admixed with Cebex 100 @ 225gm per 50 kg of cement in to the nozzleswith a pressure of 3kg/cm, (e)Continue pressure till the hand pump become unbearable or the grout materials come out of some other holes. (f) After completion of all the grout points, Cure the grout & cut the external portion of the Nozzles. (g) After full cure of the grout cut the external portions of the pvc nozzles. Apply Nitobond SBR Latex with Water & cement in ratio of 1:2:4 by brush application over the area At the green stage of this coating Seal the nozzle holes with help of Polymer modified cement mortar. To make the polymer modified Cement mortar mix Hydroproof Xtra with Cement & sand in ratio of 1: 2: 3. (h)Fill up the cracked area with the same polymer modified mortar with use of Hydroproof Xtra & cement Sand in the above said ratio. (j)Cure the surface with sufficient water for at least 48 hrs. Necessary scaffolding, props, cement and sand.Note:This work executed as per manufacturer instruction |
