two coats of synthetic enamel paint with black and white or yellow strips 30cm wide each upto 1.5m height from top of PCC foundation block and on remaining surface of steel pole applying one coat of aluminium paint after preparation of old steel surfaces including marking of numbering of poles with synthetic enamel paint white in colour in 80mm high letters over 150mm x 230mm yellow base and applying one coat of cement base paint on PCC pedestal complete all as specified and directed. 16 Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil n exc 1.50 meter wide and n exc 1.50 meter in depth for foundation of pole,laying cable etc and getting out etc complete all as specified and directed. 17 `-do- all as per Item No.16 above but insoft disintegreted rock/ laterite rock/bituminous road 18 Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25 cm thick etc complete all as specified and directed. 19 Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point etc complete all as specified and directe. 20 Taking up bricks laid as cable covers and stacking serviceable brick for reuse at site etc complete all as specified and directed. 21 Laying only old bricks retrieved from item Srl Item No. 20.00 (here-in-before) as cable covers in trenches etc complete all as specified and directed. 22 M&L for brick covering to underground electric cable using sub class ‘B’ bricks, laid dry, flat, perpendicular to the direction of cable etc complete all as specified and directed. . 23 M&L for Sand cushioning 230mm thickness withdry sand (one layer of 80mm thickness before laying of cable and other layer of 150mm thickness after laying of cable) andpunned down to 180mm after laying of cablein trenches for protection of cable completeall as directed.Note :- For the purpose of payment only punned thickness shall be measured. 24 Taking out the old unserviceable LT underground cable upto 16 Sqmm 1100 volts grade, XLPE insulated and PVC sheathed, armoured heavy duty with multistrand aluminium conductors from trenches/wall/floor/road/ culverts or pole etc including brick cover complete all as specified and directed.Note : Excavation and earth work, duct work, GI pipe for laying of cable and sand cushing/cable protection covers etc are beyond the scope of this item and shall be measured & paid for separately under relevant items of BoQ. 25 Supply , laying,jointing, testing and commissioningof size 10 sqmm 4 core LT underground cable , 1100 volts grade, XLPE insulated and PVC sheathed, armoured heavy duty with multistrand aluminium conductors IS-7098, laid in trenches /fixed on wall /floor /road /culverts /pole or encased in GI pipe complete all as specified and directed.Note : Excavation, earth work, sand cushion & brick protection shall be paid separately. 26 All as per item No 25.00 (here-in-before) but 16 Sqmm 4 core. 27 S&F in replacement Galvanized iron tubing, 40mm bore light grade, ISImarked, including all fittings and laid in trenches/under road/drains, fixed to poles/walls with required size of flat iron (40mmx6mm) clamps, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of LT electric cable complete. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately. 28 M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm crushed graded stone aggregate as in coping and the like including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles etc complete all as specified and directed. 29 Prunning / trimming the branches of trees if any along overhead line, 3 mtr on all side below/ above/ sides of overhead line and removing the same upto 150 mtr away each span not exceeding 70 mtr etc complete all as specified and directed.Note :- The above is to be ensured for the entire contract period by cutting/trimming of trees any number of times as required. 30 S&F in replacement 10 W LED bollard lightin cylindrical shape, high surge protection, integrated LED driver , high durablity withIP-66 complete all as specified & directed. 31 Supply & fixing in repair Nature Switch control panel (using Infrared Sensor technology) for Automatic switching of Street Light. The Panel should be suitable enough to take 3-phase load of 3-5KW. Nature Switch operation should be based on Natural Light Lux level ie requiredIlluminance Level for Switching ON is = 60 Lux and for Switching OFF = 10 Lux. TheSensor should also have part night operation facility of min. 4 hrs to max. 12 hrs.The Sensor along with suitable Power Contactor(s) and Incoming-Outgoing MCBsshould be enclosed in a pole/wall mountable FR grade thermoplastic polycarbonate Enclosure (with HINGED LID) conforming to IP66 protection class 2. The circuit should also have provision for Manual Operation (i.e. Sensor By-Pass option). The Circuit should be suitable enough to take 3 nos. Contactors of 16 Amps/ phase rating, 3 nos.
