Party to submit the Standard Operating Practice (SOP) for each tank for approval before commencement of work. All safety precautions including necessary equipments like explosive meter, personal protection equipments for all workers, etc shall be used for execution of the work as per the instruction from the site engineer/safety officer/EPCM. 5. Dismantled Steel Plates material & valves shall be segregated, numbered and stacked properlywithin the location as per the direction of site engineer/Location in charge and will be property of IOCL. The dismantled structures/appurtenances will be property of Contractor.The partyto arrange for cranes/hydra required for lowering/ shifting of the above dismantled scrap. 6. The measurement for payment shall be done on the weight basis in as is where is basis after dismantling. Plan areaandaverage thickness of roof plates/Shell Plates/Bottom Plates will be considered for calculating the qty of dismantled plates. Weight of appurtenances will not be considered seperately, which shall be property of Contractor and no extra payment for the same will be made. 7. The Tanks shall be empties out and handed over to the Party in gas free condition by IOCL. |
