Name of Work: AMMONIA TANK PROJECT RESIDUAL WORK (PIPING, CIVIL and STRUCTURAL WORK) FOR INTERCONNECTING PIPERACK AREA AT FACT - CD, AMBALAMEDU,KOCHI, KERALA.

1Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1m above ground level and removal of rubbish and cleared items to locations pointed out by Engineer in-charge, with in a lead of 50m.
2Demolishing R.C.C. work manually / by mechanical means including stacking of reinforcement bars and disposal of unserviceable material with in 50m lead as per direction of Engineer in-charge.
3Demolishing stone rubble masonry manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge : in cement mortar.
4\"Dismantling steel work in single sections including dismembering and stacking with in 50m lead, as per direction of Engineer – in - charge. in Channels, angles, tees and flats.\"
5Disposal of moorum/ building rubbish/ malba/ similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste material by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to approved dumping ground for lead up to 10 km for all lifts, within the premises of FACT CD, complete as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
6Charges for conveying the surplus earth to places approximately 5 kms away and dumping at low lying places as directed by the Engineer in-charge.
7Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains, in all kinds of soil, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed by the Engineer-in -charge, with in a lead of 50m. The rates shall include bailing out water, and keeping the sides from collapsing using necessary timbering, planking, and shoring.
8\"Casting 600mm diameter bored cast in-situ reinforced cement concrete piles, as per Engineering specification 32686-12-DA-011 R0 in M35 grade ready mix concrete after boring through Direct mud circulation method as per IS 2911- Part 1/sec 2, having minimum cement of 400 KG/M3 of concrete, using Portland Pozzolana cement confoMing to IS 1489, river sand / manufactured sand confoMing to IS 383, 20mm or less size graded hard granite broken stones, admixtures to concrete as per IS 9103, water as per IS 456 and reinforced with High strength defoMed bars of 500D/550D grade confoMing to IS 1786 for the entire length of piles. The pile shall be socketed into hardrock for a depth of 600mm(boring through rock paid separately). All the materials used in the casting of concrete shall be done with the approval of Engineer-in-charge.The rate shall include the cost for all plants, tools, materials labour and other services for boring the piles including mobilisation and demobilisation of piling rigs, boring to the required depth and stabilisation of hole with bentonite slurry or other required material to suit site conditions, making channels in the ground, making service roads and arrangements for transportation and disposal of muck (The muck will be treated as owned by the contractor and it will be the responsibility of the contractor to dispose the muck without causing environment damage with necessary peMission from the concerned authority and consultant / client to be infoMed well in advance on the disposal methodology before starting the work), cleaning the bores with water, lowering the reinforcement cages, concreting, excavating and levelling the ground exposing piles to a depth of 100mm below cut-off level after curing and gaining sufficient strength. Rate of reinforcement alone shall be paid extra - For piles of length 23m below cut-off level. (payment shall be made for length of pile below cut off level only)
9Extra charges for boring through hard rock for a depth of 600mm over and above rates quoted for item no(8) for 600mm dia pile
10Chipping and removing weak concrete at the top of RCC piles to the cut off level in line and levels carefully, manually / mechanically without damaging the remaining portion of pile and exposing the reinforcement, cleaning the reinforcement off any loose concrete particles and removing the debris to places pointed out within the project premises as directed by the Engineer in-charge
11Charges for empty boring through various strata to the required diameter of pile specified in the Item above, clearing the area, collecting, conveying and disposal of muck of all types such as liquid, fluid, solid and spoil earth (The muck will be treated as owned by the contractor and it will be the responsibility of the contractor to dispose the muck without causing environment damage with necessary peMission from the concerned authority and consultant / client to be infoMed well in advance on the disposal methodology before starting the work) including hire charges for tools and plants, rigs, cost of labour, etc. complete for all depth. (Payment will be made for abandoned pile due to reasons attributable to owner and for empty boring involved in between ground level at the time of casting the piles and cut-off level of piles.) 600 mm dia. piles.
12Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.
13Supplying and stacking good earth brought from outside, at locations pointed out by the engineer in-charge
14Providing and laying in position reinforced cement concrete work in 1:2:4 mix (1 Portland Pozzolana cement: 2 coarse river sand/manufactured sand:4 20mm nominal size graded hard granite broken stones) including all charges for mixing concrete, laying, consolidating, curing, but excluding cost of reinforcement, centering and shuttering , as per standard specifications and as directed by the Engineer in-charge for yard paving
15Providing and laying plain cement concrete work in 1:4:8 mix (1 cement: 4 coarse river sand/manufactured sand: 8 40mm nominal size graded hard granite broken stones) including all charges for mixing concrete, laying, consolidating, curing, cost for bailing out of water, oil, liquid mud etc. from all sources in excavated pits, trenches, etc. complete at all levels as per standard specifications but excluding the cost of shuttering, and as directed by the Engineer in-charge for foundation / levelling course etc.
16Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-30 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer incharge. (Note: - Cement content considered in this item is @ 340 KG/M3. Excess cement used as per design mix is payable separately) – for all works below plinth level

25Supplying, conveying, fabrication and erection of MS single section members such as channels, guard rail, MS angle hand rails verticals, etc. with fixtures such as end stops, clamps, bolts and nuts etc. including charges for cutting, splicing, drilling holes as required, fixing to lines and levels and cleaning thoroughly with power tools and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel of approved shade over two coats of red oxide zinc chromate primer.
26Supply, fabrication and erection of structural steel work in built up trusses bolted or welded at all levels with MS angles, channels, tees, flats, RSJs, rods, pipes, hollow rectangular sections and plates for roof trusses, purlins, cladding, gratings, runners etc. including cutting, welding, hoisting, erecting in position with necessary MS bolts including preparation of surface by grit/shot blasting at all heights including hire of plants and equipments, labour and costs of grits, shots. After grit/shot blasting the surface shall exhibit almost clean white metal and shall have surface finish of Sa 2 ½ asper IS 9954. (Mill scale, rust & foreign matter shall be removed to the extent that only traces remaining are slight stains in the foM of spots or strip)The rate shall include erecting necessary scaffolding works wherever required and covering working area during blast cleaning with tarpaulin of good quality to prevent spreading of dust, paint to the nearby operating areas and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel of approved shade over two coats of red oxide zinc chromate primer.
