• Sealed Source: Americium-241 (Activity: 0.5 mCi)• Size of Source: Circular of about 5 cm diameter on stainless steel (SS) plate with radiation emitting surface on only from the top. • Source should be provided with holder so that source can be handled without touching. The dimension with holder should be ~5.5 cm.• Type of Source: Either electroplating on stainless steel disc or Foil Type. The alpha particles should be coming out from top side of the source • Source will be uniformly coated/electroplated to avoid any hotspot areas of exposure. • The coating/electroplating should be firm/stable enough to not out while operation/handling.• Party should provide Leak Test/Radiation Safety reports as per Regulatory Guidelines of previous manufactured similar radiation sources• Necessary AERB permission will be provided after placing the Purchase Order• Party should provide technical brochure with details of dimensions, holder details with drawings/photos for technical evaluation • Party should provide reference of research publication where such sources are used or contact details of scientist/laboratory where previous supply made for similar radiation sources• If required, Party should be able to show its manufacturing/leak test sites of the sources
