RMU should be provided with internal busbars, as well as earthing bus bars should be of copper, padlock provisions & complete with all accessories. The RMU shall be type tested for Internal arc test of 21KA AFLR for 1 sec as per IEC62271-200 including both cable box and tank. RMU shall be equipped with site replaceable bushing. The earthing copper busbar shall be provided inside each cable compartment for soilid earthing of Cable shields. The outer enclosure main door should cover entire part of the switchgear including front cover and cable doors for providing complete IP 54 protection. The unit shall include the following with all necessary standard fitting as required at site. Rated Voltage - 12KV Power frequency withstand voltage - 28KV Impulse withstand voltage - 75KVP (an altitude <1000 m above msl) Rated Current Amp - 630A SF6 Insulated Vacuum Circuit Breaker consisting of 3 modules having Two Load Break Switch and One Vacuum Circuit Breaker:-
2(a) 2 Nos. Incoming Load Break Switch module should consist of following accessories : (i) Operation of LBS should be Motorized. 3(b) Outgoing Breaker module should consist of following accessories : 630A Vacuum Circuit Breaker module for making and breaking of fault current alongwith Earth Switch of full making capacity The VCB should be able to clear at least 50 Nos Dead short circuit operations Short time current - 21/25KA per second Making Capacity - 50KA Auxiliary contacts - 1NO + 1NC Power frequency withstand voltage - 28KV Impulse withstand voltage - 75KV Nominal operating gas pressure - 1.4 Bar abs. 4(c ) Bus Connected PT Unit -1 No. forMetering consisting of following:- Type M: Air Insulated metering module 12KV, 630A, 21/25KA for one second. 3 Voltage Transformers of the ratio 11KV/v3 / 110 V/v3, 50 VA, Class 1.0 with HT fuses on primary side and MCB on secondary side. Microprocessor based IDMT (50,50N,51,51N) relay for overcurrent, short circuit and earth fault protection. Trafu Card for transformer auxiliary protection (WTI/OTI/Buchholz) 1 LED Illumination. 1 Space Heater with thermostat. Each RYB phase indications for 2 incomers and one outgoing. 1 Cable support bus bars, standard for 3 way unit, 1-manometer & 1 operating handle. 1 set Bushings for external busbar connection along with Busbar cover & Sleeved busbars for coupling.
5(d) 2x12 V Battery with battery charger with suitable burden for motor operation. Input 230 V AC & Output 24 V DC. Battery. (i) Capacitive voltage indication fixed type VPIS 9-15 KV. (ii) Necessay interclocking arrangement for safety and operations. (iii) One No. Operationg Handle for Manual Operation. (iv) One No. Manometer. (v) Safety Interlocks Shall be provided as per relevant IEC/IS Standards and Manufacturers directions. (vi) Above switchgear shall confirm to all relevant IEC/IS Standards. (vii) Manual operation of Vacuum Circuit Breaker should be possible without dismantling the motor from RMU. The motor should be fitted in such a way that it should not be outside front covers of RMU. (viii) Coupling of RMU and Metering module should be with the help of Bolted type arrangement, so that the coupling at site shall be easy. Plug-in type bushing shall not be acceptable. (ix) Cable bushing should be replaceable at site. (x) Minimum 3 module should accommodate in one tank to avoid multiple coupling at site. (xi) RMU shall be fully motorized and shall have manual operation as well. RMU shallbe provided with battery and battery charger rated for 24 V DC for motorisation. (xii) RMU shall be provided with protection and metering CTs Minimum ratio for protection and metering CT shall be **/1,5P10, 2.5VA. (xiii) All circuit breaker feeders shall be self powered and shall be provided with OC+EF protection for transformer and shall have serial port for communication on modbus protocol. (xiv) RMU cable box shall be front accesible type to have easy access to protection and metering CTs. Vaccum Interupter should be of same make. Cable box should be arc proof with bolted door and interlocked with respective earthing switchs. Doors should be removable for the ease aceess to terminate cables. Note : (i) The Contrctor shall submit the NABL accredited lab test reports of the RMUs in original and the same shall be produced well before claiming RAR payment of the RMU.(ii) Pre dispatched inspection of RMU shall be carried out by the rep of accepting Officer and necessary cost of the testing Lab and after installation at site shall be born by the Contractor.
6Supply, installation, connecting, testing and commissioning of 11 KV, 630 Amps, Non-Extensible Outdoor Fixed Type (IP54), RMU (Ring main unit) 3-way comprising of 01 Nos 630 Amps, Motorized operated Load Break Switch (Comprising One Nos. (xii) RMU shall be provided with protection and metering CTs Minimum ratio for protection and metering CT shall be **/1,5P10,2.5VA (xiii) All circuit breaker feeders shall be self powered and shall be provided with OC+EF protection for transformer and shall have serial port for communication on modbus protocol (xiv) RMU cable box shall be front accessible type to have easy access to protection and metering CTs. Vacuum Interrupter should be of same make. Cable box should be arc proof with bolted door and interlocked with respective earthing switch"s. Doors should be removable for the ease access to terminate cables. Note :(i) The Contrctor shall submit the NABL accredited lab test reports of the RMUs in original and the same shall be produced well before claiming RAR payment of the RMU.(ii) Pre dispatched inspection of RMU shall be carried out by the rep of accepting Officer and necessary cost of the testing Lab and after installation at site shall be born by the Contractor.
11Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE insulated ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty), 11000 volts (E) gradewith stranded aluminium conductorof size 300 Sqmm of 3 Core Complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation, earthwork, sand cushioning, PCC protection cover, Gl pipe & protectionclamps shall be measured and paid for separately
12Supply & fix Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination Cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured/ aluminium conductor cable of size240 sqmm to 300 sqmm,complete all as specified and directed.
13Supply & fix Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination Cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured/ aluminium conductor cable of size240 sqmm to 300 sqmm,complete all as specified and directed.
14Supply , install, testing and commissioning ofAuxiliary Trafo (4 nos)to be fitted in the Existing invertors (4 Nos) of Make ABB for auxiliary supply of invertors including 1 KVA Auxiliary trafo 1 Ph ( 4 Nos) , S202-K- 10 Mini Circuit Breaker 10A MCB (04 Nos) complete all as specified and directed. Note : Auxiliary Trafo to be fixed shall be approved by GE (West) , FZR before procurement of order by the contractor.
15M & L for Earthing complete with galvanized mild steel earth plate electrode size 600mm x 600mm x 6.3 mm thick buried directly in ground (Preferably in vertical position) earth pit not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate not less 1.5 metre (BGL) connected to galvanized iron earth strip 32 x6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nut and washer of galvanized iron including PCC pit in RCC 1:2:4 type B-1, precast RCC cover with suitable handle, excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 50mm bore “medium grade” galvanized iron water tubing fixed with cast iron funnel and wire mesh and 50 mm bore “light grade” galvanized iron protection pipe for earth strip 32 x6 mmupto 5m length, charcoal, common salt, complete all as shown in EP No 1 of SSR 2009 Part-I, connected to test point complete, all as specified and testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) GI earth strip 32 x6 mm more than 7.5 m will be measured and paid separately. (ii) Excavation in soft/loose soil, returning filling & removal of surplus soil to a distance up to 50 meter as directed.
16M&L for plinth of RMU Unit as per OEM/ Manufacture design and recommendation of size 3.0x2.5x0.50 mtr including excavation work , PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) for foundation , Brick work with sub class "B" bricks and rendering of 15 mm thick cement plaster on of brick / concrete work ,Soil/sandfilling for foundation and hard core of broken bricks of gauge n exc 63 mm deposited ,spread and filing in layers and cement concrete type C-2, 1:3:6 ,150 mm thick and Cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4, 150 mm thick complete all as specified and directed.
17Dismantling & taking outPCC pole of any sizeandremoving from site of work for re-use at other location complete all as specified and directed.

19Fixing only Pre-stressed concrete pole 11.0 meter long, 152 mm X 152mm at top and 152mm X 260 mm at bottom, class-10, Retrieved from item No 09, as in repairs complete all as specified . (PCC and earth work shall be measured separately)
20Fixing only Cross arms, bracings, stiffeners, supporting clamps and back plates, fabricated from structural steel sections, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and including necessary welding, bending cold or hot inclusive of nuts, bolts, washers and two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of aluminium primer including preparation of surfaces, complete all as specified.
21M&L Cement concreted (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of poles including necessary form work, fair finished to exposed surfaces without using extra cement wherever required complete all as specified.
22M&L Cement concreted (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations filling and mass concrete and foundation of stay assembly/feeder pillar/LT panel etc including necessary form work, fair finished surfaces without using extra cement complete all as specified.
23M&L Cement concreted (1:2:4) type B-2using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of electric poles/struts/ etc including necessary form work, fair finished surfaces without using extra cement complete all as specified.
24Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter deep for laying of cable, pole foundation, etc including taking out old brick cable protection cover and getting out forming bottom surface to required gradient all as specified.
25All as per item No 16 herein before but depth exceeding 1.5 meter but not exceeding 3.0 meter for poles etc.
26Returning, filling in, earth including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layer each not exceeding 25cm thick, complete all as specified.
27Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified.
28M&L Precast reinforcedcement concrete cable cover factory made class HV, type-I, flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm for HT cable ISI marked, laid flat across the cable, complete all as specified and directed.
29M&L for sand cushioning with a layer of fine sand 8 cm thick before laying of cable and 15 cm thick after laying of cable in trenchescomplete as specified. Notes: (i) Excavation and earth work to be measured and paid for separately) (ii) Measurement shall be taken only after punning down sand cushioning.

33Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum getting out, returning filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm watering and removing surplus soil to a distance n exc 50m and making good surface, complete all as specified.
34M&L for cement concrete type B-1 (1:2:4) using 20mm graded stone aggregate in lintels upto 1.5 m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings up to 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbswater troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded for chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified.
35S&F Mild steel work as in posts or struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire etc flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc) including all necessary bolting or riveting etc and similar work confirming to Fe-290 Gde E-165, complete all as specified.
36S&F Tie bars with screwed ends, nuts, washers and mild steel plates for walls, chimneys, roofs, arches, etc. king rods and straining bolts conforming to Fe 410-0 or Fe 310-0, complete all as specified.
37S&F Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut,exc 5cm but n exc 10 cm long diameter of the neck in 5 to 10 mm, complete all as specified.
38S&F Mild steel Roundbars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required & fixed in any position, complete all as specified.
39S&F GI chain link fencing 100 mm diagonal mesh size of 3 mm dia wire fixed angle iron fencing post including prov. of binding wire complete all as specified.
40S&F Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured), complete all as specified.
41M&L Preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over primed steel surfaces complete all as specified.
42Supply & fixing framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces etc, complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering, Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete all as specified and directed
43M&L for Hardcore of broken stone of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface as in surface of 11 KV Sub station , around 4 pole / 2 Pole structure all as specified and directed.
