10Conducting bottom calibration by providing the required water, labour, water meter, water pump, etc.The work involves pouring into the tanks measured quantities of water in the bottom saucer portion upto the level of the datum plate to ascertain the exact volume of the conical portion of the tank and removing the water after calibration and cleaning the tank bottom thoroughly as per instruction at site. 19Balance Work of Internal Painting as detailed in scope of work - Shot / Grit blasting and painting the INTERNAL surface of CR tanks to standard SA 2.5 (Swedish standard) including cleaning the surface thoroughly free from grease, dirt, rust, mill scales and removing all other sharp points, weld splatter, flux etc. and supplying and painting the internal surfaceof CR storage tanks upper side surfaces of bottom plateinside surfaceof shell upto 300 mm below the curb angle or upto level below curb angle where lowest point of foam pourer will be locatedwhichever is more in CR tanks including structurals, underside surface of roof plates& including all the appurtenances inside the tank such as tank nozzles, combined gauge well with pipes etc., covering theentire inside of the tank and all surfaces and appurtenances, which are likely to be in contact with the stored liquid, labour, materials, etc., complete in all respects as per enclosed specification and instructions at site. Painting scheme shall be - Blast clean to Sa 2.5 - Primer - 1 coat of Inorganic Zinc Ethyl Silicate primer (P1) of DFT 65-75 microns. - intermediate coat- 1 coat ofepoxy zinc phosphate (P5) of DFT 35-40 microns. - finish coat-2 coats of amine adduct cured HB epoxy Liner (F3) DFT 100-125 micron each coat. Total Min DFT microns 300 microns Note: For CR Tanks,the shell inside means first strake (2 m) of inside surface of shell & 300 mm height below the curb angle or upto level below curb angle where lowest point of foam pourer will be locatedwhichever is more . Note: For Fire Water Tanks, painting includes upper side suraces of bottom plates, inside surface of shell and including curb angle & shell extension including structurals, underside surface of roof plates & including all the appurtenances inside the tanks such as nozzles, dip pies etc,covering the entire inside of the tank and all surfaces and appurtenances, which are likely to be in contact with the stored liquid, labor, materials etc, completein all respects as per enclosed specification and intructin at site. Painting scheme shall be - Blast cleaning to SA 2.5 - Primer - 1 coat of Inorganic Zinc Ethyl Silicate primer (P1) of DFT 65-75 microns - intermediate coat - 1 coat of two pack Epoxy – Polyamide MIO (U1) of DFT 100-125 microns - finish coat - 2 coats of Two pack Aliphatic Acrylic Plyurethane (F1) of DFT 40-50 microns each Total Min DFT microns 215 microns Note: Application for External/ Internal painting for tanks shall be carried out by means of AIRLESS SPRAY PAINTING SYSTEM only. The colour code of finish coats shall be as per IOC painting manual/standard. IOC logo and monogram shall be provided at two places on the shell. All other lettering such as tank no., product name etc. as per the drawings and specifications shall also be painted. The rate for external painting is inclusive of the above.

24Balance works as detailed in scope of work - Fabricating, erecting, welding and testing of shell, end plates,supports,etcincludingcutting, squaring, bevelling, rolling, etc., marking the plates for identification, lifting & placing the plates in position by any approved methods for the underground horizontal tanksof following size as per our specifications and drawings with Carbon Steel plates and all other items such as labour, materials, consumables, water, power, etc. supplied by the contractor.Rates quoted should include hydrostatic testing for tank (on completion, tank has to be tested as per standards) etc. complete in all respects.

28Supplying, fabricating, erecting, assembling, fitting & welding all the structurals & appurtenances for underground tanks of following sizes such as stiffening rings, nozzles, manholes, vents nozzles with pipe & its supports, dip pipes, holding down arrangement, mounting stool with accessories for vertical pumps, temperature hatch, nozzle for radar gauge, earthing boss with GI flat connection from tank to the pits, earthing pits, etc as per drawings. The job includes installation of tanks. Civil items shall be paid as per respective items. Note: Steel plates for U/G tank shell and headsshall be provided free of cost by IOC.

31External surface of the tanks, turn buckle, buried portion of manholes, nozzles, etc. shall be thoroughly cleaned to remove loose rust, dirt to SSPC - SP2 standard. Coating scheme shall be: - Shot/Grit Blasting to SA 2.5. - 1 coat ofinorganic zinc ethyl silicate primer (P1) total DFT of 65-75 micrones - 2 coats of Amine adduct cured HB epoxy liner finish paint (F3)coating of 100-125 microns DFT. Total Min DFT - 265 microns Note: Application for External/ Internal painting for tanks shall be carried out by means of AIRLESS SPRAY PAINTING SYSTEM only.

Note: a. Charges for welding of pipelines, pipe fittings including Edge preparation and radiography testing shall be paid seperately under respective item. b. The job includesBlast cleaning (using Slag/ Shots) & painting of the outer surfaces of above ground pipeline/ fittings/ specials all leads & lifts etc. complete as per enclosed specifications and instructions at site. c. Pipe length indicated against each size is actual as per drawing. Payment will be made for the actual quantity executed at site. d.
