5Chilled/Hot Water Secondary Pumps (variable pumping system) Supplying, erection, testing and commissioning of package type End Suction type secondary chilled/hot water pumping system with VFD and all pump system controller, comprising of: a) Pumping set with CED Coated cast Iron casing, Bronze impellers with stainless steel shaft, connected to suitable capacity TEFC ventilated induction motor with class "F" insulation, eff-1, 3 Phase, 1450 RPM, suitable for 415 volts ± 10%, 3 phase, 50 Hz A.C. supply.b) Duly insulated with 80 kg/cum density resin bonded fiber glass cladded with aluminium sheets of 0.5mm thickness and properly clamped to pump in two semicircular sections as per specifications.c) Unless otherwise specified, renewable wear ring of bronze shall be furnished atleast on the casing d) Variable secondary Panel should have a dedicated programmable logic controller with individual drive for each pump and with required no. of sensors and the entire unit has to be procured from the Pump manufacturer to ensure the smooth operation of the system. The Programmable logic controller shall be able to control minimum 1 Pump and maximum of 4/6 Pumps, Automatic cascade control of pumps, automatic sequence change, Friction loss compensation, pump status shall be there. Display shall be graphical type with minimum 320 pixels X 240 Pixels VGA display with backlight.Drive should have rated input frequency 50 Hz and output frequency range of 0.5 to 132 Hz. An IP41/IP55 Nema Standard powder coated steel enclosure for Basement/Roof top, with sufficient capacity of cooling fan shall house all the electrical control components.
6e) Microprocessor based control panel shall have suitable hardware & software so that it can be integrated directly to IBMS with standard communication open protocol using backnet / Modbus as well as open IP. f)(All the Pump set will have their control panel with respect to the motor rating). g) All pumps to be provided with separate variable frequency drives. Control panel should also consist of cooling fan. h) One panel for each job will be provided (for a set of two/three pumps) and the panels should be installed adjacent to each other. j) The pumps should be suitable for heating as well as chilled water circulation. k) Lot-Mounting frame work with anti vibration pads. l) Electronic Differential Pressure Transmitters as required. m) suitable flanged suction and delivery headers in C-Class MS n) Complete set system to be mounted on a common MS base frame and shall follow following duty with following no. of pumps:

Programmable controller (Imported UL Listed) having processors of 32 Bit 50 MHZ, LON CHIP) BACNET compatible/Modbus/ IP protocol, controller for Pumps,Cooling Tower . The controller shall support easy Graphical Programming and shall be able to store the programme in the controller rather than store in the PC. It should include Lockable Mounting Cabinets duly powder coated, connector strip, internal wiring & relays etc. CPM should be able to communicate/interface with main IBMS. 133(viii) Contractor shall solely responsible for any mishappening / accident and loss to life due to negligence of the workmen engaged in the work. No compensation shall be admissible on this account. (ix) The Contractor shall sign inventory of the equipment/Bldg of MES installation before commencement of work any damage/theft to the Govt. property, the contractor will be responsible and recovery to this effect will be made as decided. (x)The operators should have a sound knowledge of plants equipment . (xi) During currency of contract If there is any change of staff, same to be informed in writing to the accepting officer well in advance. The Accepting Officer reserves the right whether to change the staff. However he can remove any staff on the basis of Non Performance. (xii) Contractor shall be liable to comply with all the relevant rules and regulations as issued and revised by Labour commission time to time regarding wages. (xiii) The operator shall not leave the installation without reliever and Installation shall not be left unmanned in any case. 145Manning & Operation of Central type AC plant 3X30 TR (2W + 1SB) installed at TTD Bldg of ITR Chandipur with 03 shifts/day (08 hours per Shift) (0600 hrs to 1400hrs, 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs & 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs) including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays with deployment of one operator per shift (ITI/ diploma holder having adequate experience in the respective trade) during the following period, starting from satisfactory completion of Defect liability period complete all as specified and directed.

149NOTE (For item 61 to 61.30above) : The rates quoted for operation and maintenance of installations will include the following :- (i) Providing optimum manpower. Minimum qualification of all the manpower employed will be ITI passed in respective field of work with minimum 3 years experience. The contractor will submit the details of manpower employed before commencement of work. (ii) Duty timings will be as follows. For round the clock duties: 1st shift - 06:00 - 14:00 Hrs, 2nd shift - 14:00 - 22:00 Hrs, 3rd shift - 22:00 Hrs - 06:00 Hrs. For General duty/one shift - 08:30 - 16:30 Hrs. (iii) Al the tradesmem shall wear proper uniform with firm name and shoes at the installation, colour of uniform will be dircted by Engineer in Charge. (iv) Daily cleaning and maintenance of equipement and inside the installation shall be carried out by the staff employed by contractor without any exta cost to the departement and if fail to do the maintenance panelty @ 500/- per day imposed or decision of GE will be final & Binding. (v) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of all consumables includingtoppingup required refrigerant gas, compressor oil required for maintaining the plant at good working condition & desired condition of 22ºC ± 3ºC and relative humidity 50 % ± 5 %. (vi) Daily consumables such as grease, gland rope, cotton waste etc shall be provided by contractor at installations and the unit rate quoted shall be inclusive of the same (vii) The contractor shall be responsible for safe custody of all the plants / equipements under his contract. (viii) Contractor shall solely responsible for any mishappening / accident and loss to life due to negligence of the workmen engaged in the work. No compensation shall be admissible on this account. (ix) The Contractor shall sign inventory of the equipment/Bldg of MES installation before commencement of work any damage/theft to the Govt. property, the contractor will be responsible and recovery to this effect will be made as decided.
150(x)The operators should have a sound knowledge of plants equipment . (xi) During currency of contract If there is any change of staff, same to be informed in writing to the accepting officer well in advance. The Accepting Officer reserves the right whether to change the staff. However he can remove any staff on the basis of Non Performance. (xii) Contractor shall liable to comply with all the relevant rules and regulations as issued and revised by Labour commission.(xii) The operator shall not leave the installation without reliever and Installation shall not be left unmanned in any case. If any staff found absent, Three times of the min wages prescribed as per the Govt charges as penalty (xiii) Weekly Area cleaning including cutting of grass, etc all around the installations as directed otherwise penalty @ 500/- per day imposed or decision of GE will be final & Binding. (xiv) Any abnormality observed to be immediately intimated to the maintenance team with intimation to the concerned MES Personnel / in charge. (xv) Minimum required tools, T&P, safety equipment etc always available with the operator (xvi) Log sheets to be maintained regularly in binding book with respect to detailed parameters of AC parameter such as DBT, WBT, RH, Power consumed, etc and signed by the contractor him self or his authorised rep all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge
151(xvii) First aid box including medicines shall be kept in the installations (xviii) All consumable items such as refrigrant Gas, compressor Oil, Greece, including descaling with chemicals, servicing of plants. AHU , Ducts , Filters, Condensing Pipes and Coil, Cooling Tower, fire damper, Heaters etc required for operation of plants hshall be provided by contractor at his own cost as per the manufacturer"s instruction and direction of GE during period of manning and operation, cost of the same shall be deemed to include in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (xix)All the personnel employed for operation and maintenance should be in proper uniform with firm name and safety outfits as per relevant norms. They may also be required to be deployed in any other locations other than mentioned above as per the site requirements and exigencies. (xx) The rates are deemed to include minimum fair wages, EPF, ECIS etc to paid to the employed personnel as per the rules enforced by the Govt time to time and payment of all taxes as per govt rule. (xxi) The rates quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to include wages including revised rate of variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) alongwith all taxes, statutory levies/duties such as Labour Welfare tax, Govt Service Tax (GST), EPF, ESI, Bonus, etc as applicable on date and levied by the Central/State Govt payable under respective statutes as applicable from time to time. For this account nothing extrashall be admissible. (xxii) In case of any changes in the minimum wages or any statutory wage component as per the Applicable Laws during the Contract period, Service provider has to cater for the same in this quote. In this regard, no extra claim is admissible.

156M&L fordismantling and overhauling ofcondenser/Chiller/Hot water generator/Cooling tower pump set of capacity upto 15 HP, dismantling pump and motor separately, cutting the burnt out winding from slots and rewinding the same by existing size and gauge of super enamalled copper wire including varnishing, heating, repairing the insulating materials, repalcing bearings, bushes and remetalling the shaft including necessary heat treatment ,and repairing the pump , including replacing the gland packing , bearingsand all rustednuts and bolts, washersand remetaling the Impeller of suitable size and bore for lifting the water from sourceand reassembling the motor and pump with gland packing includings painting of pump amd motor assambly complete with two coats ofsuper enameled paints over one coats of red oxide,fixing the motor & pump at its position and connecting the suction and delivery water pipe and testing under working conditions, complete all as specified anddirected.
157M&L for repair and servicing to squirrel cage induction motor 3 phase 415V, upto 15.0 HP as per existing make and model by dismantling of motor from the pump set removing the stater/rotor separately, cleaning, varnishing, heating and drying re-erecting, aligning with the pump, testing, including replacing the bearing and bush, polishing and re-metalling the shaft including necessary heat treatment.Reassembling the motor and pump with newgland packing, supply and fix new gland nuts, bolts, with gland mounting nuts & bolts washers complete , painting the motor and pumpswith two coats of synthetic enamel paint after preparing the surfaces all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. fixing the motor & pump on their own base and connecting the suction and delivery water pipes and testing with proper working condition complete all as directed .
