| 1 | Supply, Install, testing and commissioningof DG set600 KVA, Acoustic type 12 cylinder diesel engine developing 723 HP @ 1500 RPM, water / liquid cooled engine with radiator, cooling fan, fan belt, turbo charger with after cooler etc. The diesel engine shall be directly coupled to AC generator capable of developing 600 KVA / 480 KW suitable for continious operationrated at 1500 RPM. The engine shall be electric start, compression ignition, 4 stroke , design to run continiously at 1500 RPM conforming to IS 10002, ISO-3046, BS-5514, standard with an overload capacity of 10% for one hour in every 12 hrs of operation. The Diesel Engine shall comply with present CPCB norms. The diesel Engine set shall be as per IS 10002 and alternator shall be as per IS-4722/BS EN 60034-1/IEC 34-1 with electronic speed governor including necessary anti vibration pad as per the recommendation of the manufacturer with the following specification complete all as specified and directed. |

The alternator conforms to IS: 4722 and IEC 34-1 & will suitable for tropical condition. Full load efficiency of the alternator offered should be above 90%, class of insulation shall be "H". |

| 7 | (G) TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION FOR ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE (i) The enclosure shall be modular in construction. (ii) Base frame shall be made of sheet metal. (iii) Locking system shall be provided on all doors. (iv) Doors shall be gasketed with high quality EDPN gasket. (v) All sheet metal parts / components shall be hot dipped and gone through seven tanks process. (vi) Sheet metal components shall be painted with pure polyester powder coated. (vii) Base frame shall be epoxy coated. |
| 8 | (H) ACOUSTIC INSULATION (i) Sound proofing of the enclosure done with quality foam conforming to IS:8183. (ii) Acoustic foam shall be FRFS (iii) Specially designed Residential silencer shall be provided. (iv) Hooks for lifting / shifting. |

(K) ELECTRICAL (i) Neutral body earthing pointsat the sides of enclosure are isolated through Dough Moulded compound. (ii) A light points with switch need to be provided inside the canopy. |
| 10 | NOTES :- 1. Design / Drawing / BOM of the DG set showing the dimension is to be obtained from the OEM / Authorized supplier and to be got approved from GE before placing final order to the manufacturer. 2. The cost of servicing / minor repairs / replacement such as topping up of coolant, engine oil / lubricating oil as well as lubricating oil filter including periodical checking of the complete DG sets for the defect liability period and as when required is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 3. Anything missed out in the technical specification but technically required for efficient working of DG set is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 4. The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of first fill of engine oil and final successful acceptance test. 5. The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of all testing arrangement / equipement, resistive load or water load with measuring instruments including POL which shall be made available by the contractor. 6. The foundation drawing for installation of the DG set to be obtained from the manufacturer and the same is to be approved by Accepting Officer before starting the foundation work. The cost of the foundation shall also deemed to be included in the quoted rate. |

Notes:- (i) Main earthing strip from earth plate electrode to rest point upto length of 7.5 meters length shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) On testing after completion if the desired resistenance is not obtained the contractor shall redo the earthing without any extra cost to the department. |
