6Description all as per Ser Item No 5.00 here-in-before but except bricks complete all as specified and directed.
7Taking down cement plaster of any description on brick or stone walls or from concrete surface including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water and removing unserviceable material outside cantt area complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
8Material and labour for rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement etc. all as specified and as directed. (Including all necessary scaffolding, lifiting arrangement for external surfaces).
9Material and labour for applying two coats of cement based paint including preparation of newly plastered surface complete all as specified and directed.
10Material and labour for applying one coat of cement based paint including preparation of old plastered surface complete all as specified and directed.
11Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position complete all as specified and directed. (Reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition).
12Material and labour for precast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in lintels, steps, string courses, copings, posts, columns, boundary pillars, chamfering, weatherings, throating, drain covers etc including necessary form work and set in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.
13Material and labour for mild steel TMT over 10 mm dia cut to length, bent to shape, required including cranking, bending, spirally for hopping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.
14Material and labour for mild steel TMT 6 to 8 mm dia cut to length, bent to shape, required including cranking, bending, spirally for hopping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.
15Supply and fixing in repairs galvanized two strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire staples or steel pins etc complete all as specified and as directed. (Each line wire to be measured).
16Restraining and resecuring including making good staples etc galvanized two strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire staples or steel pins etc complete all as specified and as directed. (Each line wire to be measured).
17Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates, fencing posts etc but excluding framed truss etc complete all as specified and as directed.
18Supply and fixing framed work such as grills, gratings etc with ends of bars shouldered and / or riveted or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, walk ways, railing, frame work of water tanks, cupboard frame etc including one shop coat of zinc chromate primer paint (including preparation of surface), (cutting holes in brick masonry walls and fixed with PCC 1:1 1/2: 3) and similar work confirming to Fe.290 Grade-E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.
19Dismantling fencing wire mesh any type complete all as specified and as directed.
20Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section, including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground complete all as specified and as directed.
21Material and labour for plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.
22Supply and fixing posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting etc and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Grade E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.

34Material and labour for machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment, any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness, M-35 grade complete all as specified and as directed.
35Cleaning and clearing the blockage of sewage lines of any dia, type and any depth, removing any type of blockage by roding from manholes or by flushing water with pressure pump complete all as specified and as directed.
36Taking out of solid / semi solid sludge from existing manholes of any size and any depth and burying the entire sludge / sludge water into excavated pit of adequate size including excavating and covering with earth or disposing off into covered vehicles outside the peripherry of defence land to a distance exceeding 1 KMincluding taking off RCC / iron manholes covers and refixing the same after cleaning complete all as specified and as directed.
37Cleaning of blockage of EWC / IWC / urinal / bathroom / kitchen and gully trap and removing of sludge / soil / waste to distance exceeding 100 metre and testing of WC block for proper working after cleaning complete all as specified and as directed.
38Notes: - For Ser item No 35.00, 36.00 and 37.00 provide two sweepers on daily basis for attending day to day complaints and clear blockage in all respects whether in WC, Bathroom, kitchen, gully trap, sewage lines and manholes at any place upto septic tank and soakage well complete. Both the sweepers will report to the complaint cell at 9:00 AM daily except Sundays and Gazetted Holidays and will leave the cantt premises after 5:00 PM. In case the persons are not provided, Rs 400 per day per person will be recovered. The attendance of the sweepers will be marked at 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The sweepers will be issued complaints by the complaint cell and they will submit the complaints on completion on the same day otherwise Rs 100 per complaint per day will be charged for delay in completion. No T&P will be issued by the department to the sweepers. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to provide adequate T&P including uniform to the sweepers.
39Removing the manhole cover (CI or RCC), any type of manhole rectangular / circular and de-watering of septic tanks and soakage wells of any size and depth by means of hydraulic jet pressure machine by plugging inlets as required, making it fully functional to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including carrying the effluent outside the defence land in closed containers and reinstating the manhole cover to its original position complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

41Notes: - For Ser Item No 35.00, 36.00, 37.00, 39.00 and 40.00: - (i) The sewage line is required to be cleaned by using water jetting machine as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall deem to be included of this provision and no extra claim on this account shall be entertained by the department. Jetting machine will be compulsory minimum three times a week otherwise one day recovery of Rs. 10,000/- will be deducted from the payment due to the Contractor. (ii) Contractor during the mechanized operation shall be equipped with gas monitor, nylon rope ladder, torch light and compressor blower etc along with the sewage cleaning truck mounted suction/ jetting machine. (iii) Manual cleaning operation / Scavenging is prohibited. (iv) The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall interalia deemed into the cost of providing skilled driver and operator and supervising engineer including provn of water for jetting and removal of sludge / silt / liquid / mud and sand (in foul position) etc complete all as specified. (v) Contractor shall engage the above mentioned T&P and intimate to Engr-in-Charge in writing with machine No / Vehicle No etc for their record and prior approval. (vi) The T&P as and when brought by the contractor based on site requirement, the concerned site executive shall take a photograph of machine along with the supervising staff i.e. JE"s and contractor"s representatives etc and same shall be kept in record with date. (vii) Pucca bound register shall be maintained showing the machine no / vehicle no and their deployment at site mentioning time and date duly signed by concerned JE, Engr-in-Charge and contractor and the same register shall be produced while claiming the payment by the contractor.
42Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation etc and not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.
43Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.
44Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.
45Demolition by breaking up drain pipes (salt glazed stoneware or AC / RCC) 150 mm dia jointed in cement mortar and taking out of trenches and removing the debris including concrete bed and haunching from the trenches complete all as specified and as directed.

58Supply and fixing Vitreous china bowl urinal flat back, size of 465 x 355 x 265mm white including waste pipe 32mm dia GI pipe, grating and brass union for discharge pipe complete including providing and fixing plug bedding urinal against wall in cement mortar (1:2) securing urinal to plug with and including 60mm long brass screw pointing around urinal back in cement etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

NOTE NO 3: -Warranty certificate to the Engineer-in-Charge where ever applicable shall be submitted by the Contractor at the time of fittings.
