| 33 | Supplying and Fixing of FRP machine pultruded grating over drains in Unit areas & Offsite.The grating shall have following specifications: FRP machine pultruded grating made of iso-phthalic polyester resin, having excellent corrosion resistance to a wide variety of chemicals, made by jointing high strength I-beam bars of appropriate height, thickness and spacing; and, very high strength locking bars, spacing between the bearing bars shall not exceed 40mm on a center to center basis and that between the locking bars shall not exceed 80mm also on a center to center basis, having an overall width up to 700mm (maximum); suitable for supporting a uniformly distributed load of 2000kg/m2 and a concentrated load of at least 2400 kg/mtr applied by vehicular movement of vehicles such as fork lift, hydra, other medium duty vehicles, etc., at a clear span varying between 220mm to 600mm, at a deflection characteristic of not more than 2mm, having a mechanical safety factor of at least 2.0 along with necessary SS304 clamps and boltsfor fastening to MS/ RCC structure; and applicable ageing and weathering tests, with a glazed finish. |
