1Earthwork in excavation necessary for construction of roadway including dressing, trimming and compaction the cut formation in accordance with requirement of lines, levels, cross fall etc. all complete as per specifications and disposal of all cut surplus / unsuitable materials and stacking of suitable materials with all lifts and lead upto 1000 metres as per clause 301 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (4th revision) and as directed by the Engineer.
2Supplying and filling the selected earth from outside of DAE installation (with a lead of 28 kilometres). Including excavation from borrow pits if any required, filling in layer of not more than 150mm thick, each layer well rammed and consolidated by mechanical roller including water consolidation etc., levelling, dressing the top surface to the requirred level, complying with standard specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note 1: Proper Trip sheet records shall be maintained for bringing the earth through DAE main gate with security stamp duly signed by Departmental Engineer. Note 2: Necessary permission from state authorities for bringing the required earth will be the responsibility of the contractor. Note 3: The quality of earth required for the work shall be got approved from Engineer-in-charge before supply. Note 4: The item rate shall include the Royalty and any other taxes payable to the state authority.
3Providing & construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting in layer, compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2 complete all as per clause 305 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge work (4th revision) and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
4Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed Material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401 of MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge works (4th Revision) and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Grading-I material)
5Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub-base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete in all respects as per clause 406 of MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge works (4th Revision) and as directed by the Engineer-in- charge.
6Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means complete in all respects as per clause 502 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (4th revision) and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
7Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributer at the rate of 0.25kg per sqm on the prepared granular surface, cleaned with mechanical broom etc. complete in all respects as per clause 503 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (4th revision) and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
8Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributer at the rate of 0.20kg per sqm on the prepared granular surface, cleaned with mechanical broom etc. complete in all respects as per clause 503 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (4th revision) and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
9Providing and laying dense bituminous macadam with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of grading II (19mm nominal size). Premixed with bituminous binder (of 60/70 grade) @ 4.0 to 4.5% by weight of total mix of mix and filler, transported the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete in all respects as per clause 507 of MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge works (4th Revision) and as directed by the Engineer-in- charge. Note:The item rate shall include conducting all field tests / laboratory tests.
10Providing and laying bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of grading II (13mm nominal size). Premixed with bituminous binder (of 60/70 grade) @ 5.4 to 5.6% by weight of total mix of mix and filler, transported the hot mix to work site, laying wit a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete in all respects as per clause 509 of MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge works (4th Revision) and as directed by the Engineer-in- charge. Note:The item rate shall include conducting all field tests / laboratory tests.
11Providing and laying non pressure NP2 class RCC Hume pipes conforming to IS: 458, with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2, laying to the levels, slopes including testing of joints etc. complete all as per the drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

15Manufacturing, supplying, hoisting and fixing in position at all lifts, precast units of various pattems and sizes for precast plain solid units, exhaust fan moulds, slabs, etc, in controlled reinforced cement concrete of M30 grade using 20mm and below machine crushed graded stone aggregate including weigh batching, mechanical mixing, casting, vibrating, finishing of exposed faces, curing, necessary formwork, moulds, transporting and placing at all lifts, preparation of connections, grouting with cement mortar/cement grout wherever needed excluding steel reinforcement complete all as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer. Note: 1. The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using 380 Kg. of cement per cu.m. of concrete. Any upward/downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rate specified in schedule F. 2. The rate of concrete shall include all labour equipment charges for mixing & cost of admixture. Chemical admixture confirming to IS:9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from Engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility 3. Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor.
16Providing and applying Kerb painting withTwo coats at all levels with premium Plastic emulsion paint (Asian or Equivalent approved brand, colour and manufacturer) to give an even shade including one under coat of cement primer, applying putty, preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
17Providing, laying in trenches of RCC hume pipes NP3 class (as per IS 458) of various sizes for drains / service / cable crossings including making necessary joints with spun yarn and cement mortar 1:2 curing complete.

19Providing and fixing of retro- reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC :67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide clause 801.3 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (4th revision), fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing. Informatory signs as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.
20Earthwork excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) or manual means for foundation, substructures, plinth beam, cess pits & trenches, all kinds of foundation etc., in all types of soil like hard gravelly soil, sandy soil for the following depth from average ground level up to the required founding level, line and grades in both dry and wet conditions including shoring, strutting, bailing out of water if necessary, levelling and ramming the bottom of trenches, dressing of sides, stacking the excavated materials away from the edge of trenches, refilling the sides of foundation as required with selected excavated earth and depositing / disposing the surplus excavated earth (Disposed soil to be leveled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed and leveled) within the lead specified below all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer- in-charge.
21All kinds of soil with depth up to 1.5m below average Ground level and disposing surplus excavated earth up to a lead of 50 metres.
22Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:2:4 using PPC cement and 20mm maximum size graded aggregates including mechanical mixing, transporting and placing in required position raming compaction, levelling curing, shuttering , dewatering if any, complete all as per specification for levelling courses in foundation for walls, footings, floor drains etc., encasing pipes and other required works directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as per specifications.
23Providing and laying cast insitu controlled reinforced cement concrete of specified grade at all levels and lifts mentioned below using 20mm maximum size hard granite machine washed crushed graded stone aggregates and washed crushed stone sand including testings as per QAP, weigh batching, charges for mixing & cost of admixture, mechanical mixing, transporting and placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidating, 14 days curing and finishing smooth of all exposed faces complete for column footing, columns, lintels, sunshades, gutter slabs, beams, slabs, water tank, machine foundation and all other structural elements including dewatering wherever necessary (Formwork and reinforcement will be paid for separately) all as per specification and all as shown in drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for all insitu item. Note: 1. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture. Polycarboxylate ether (PCE) based chemical admixture confirming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility 2. Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor. 3. The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using minimum cement per cu.m. of concrete mentioned below for relevant grade of concrete. Any upward/ downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rate of cement specified in Schedule F.
24M30 grade with 380 kg of PPC per cu.m. of concrete for all floors
25Supplying, fabricating, erecting and fixing in position at all levels, centering and shuttering to correct line and levels including strutting, propping, etc., with necessary bracings in all axes to give a stable assembly with provision for making the joints in the shuttering fully leak proof and with provision for fixing coil nuts with tie rods along with suitable channel for lateral supports and for inserts, projecting dowels, anchor bolts or any other fixture, including staging, access and working platforms etc., all complete as specified and directed including dismantling and removing the aforesaid assembly after the concrete attains the sufficient strength to self-support itself without cracking and distortion all as per specification, including all materials and labour complete in all respects at all lifts. The measurement for the formwork will be the actual area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces. Shuttering with plywood panels alone will be permitted.
26Providing straightening, decoiling wherever necessary bending, cutting, binding and fixing in position steel reinforcement TMT bars of Fe500D grade steel conforming to IS:1786 and tying with approved annealed binding wire of 1.6mm dia in all reinforced cement concrete work at all lifts, including cost of supplying and fixing the spacer/cover blocks and binding wire complete all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at all lifts. Note: The rate shall be including the cost and testing of reinforcement steel at thrid party NABL lab. The reinforcement steel will be procured from dealers with a test certificate as approved by the department.
