| 1 | Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning vertical turbine pump, Francis impeller type, electric motor with vertical solid shaft motor driven, self-water lubricated, discharge capacity of 70 litres per second at total head of 80 metres, 1450 rpm pump speed, minimum 4 stages, impeller made of bronze, other parts made of materials as specified in IS 1710: 2021, of suitable length to draw water from 10 metre depth, guarantee of the pumps with class C ratings as per clause 4.1 and 9.4 of IS 9137: 2019, flexible couplings with and including energy efficient 3 star BEE rating totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) induction motor 415 V, 3 phase, 50 Hz, 1450 rpm, IP55 protection grade, rigid and robust construction as per IS 13555: 1993 of adequate capacity, including making electric connection with suitable size PVC insulated multi stranded copper conductor single core cable drawn through & including medium mechanical stresses class PVC conduit as per IS 9537 (Part-III): 1983 of suitable nominal size with panel board, start delta starter complete all as specified and as directed including the following provisions. Note: - (i) Contractor shall submit the technical specification, pump performance curve chart, construction data sheet, cross sectional drawing, tentative general arrangement drawing etc of pump and motor from the manufacture to suit the requirement and will take prior approval of GE before procurement. (ii) Rating of Induction motor should be as per recommended by manufacture to drive the pump but in any condition not less than 120 HP. (iii) Site of the pump installation shall be got inspected by the contractor prior to installation of pump. (iv)Construction shall be rigid to ensure vibration free operation of pump. (v) Suitable foundation of concrete or steel frame shall be constructed as recommended by the manufacturer. (vi) Submission of pump test report for performance test and laboratory test and carrying out field test as per clause 14 of IS 1710 : 2021. (vii) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of all these aspects. |

Note: The rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to include enclosure (panel), contactors, transformer, MCBs, MCCBs, HRC fuses, connectors, lugs and any other accessories required for smooth functioning of soft starter. |
