5 | Intake well have 4 nos RCC inlet channels internal size 75cmX 75cm extending radially upto a distance of 4.00m from the outer face of intake well. These inlet channels shall be properly supported and embeded in the river bed. So as to withstand the damaging effects due to excessive water current and flowing debris during floods rainy season. The projected length of the channel out side the wall may vary as per site requirement. |
6 | Threenos 150 mm diaGI (Medium) perforated pipes for inlet with proper sluice valve arrangement will be grouted in the intake well at proper place. These pipes will pass through the inlet channels and shall be covered with pebbles around it. The perforated pipes shall bearranged by the contractor. |
7 | The RCC shaft of intake well will be one meter above HFL. |
8 | The circular pump house above the shaft of intake well will be of 23 cm thick brick masonry in 1:6 cement and coarse sand mortar. |
9 | The floor of pump house i.e. deck floor slab capable of accommodating to motors of 400 LPM discharge and pumping head 125 mtrs V.T. pumps shall have 0.6m opening on either side of the centre of floor throughout the dia as shown in drawing. This opening will also provide acess for the stair case . The opening will covered by the MS Jali as per direction of Engineer –in-charge. |
10 | One meter wide circular balcony shall be provided all around the outer face of intake well shaft. This balcony shall have 1.2 m high, RCC railing post at a distance of not more than 2.5m. The railing post shall support three rows of 20mm dia GI pipe of medium quality, the pipe will be supplied by the contractor. |
11 | The roof of pump house will be 3.50 m above the floor level of pump house and will be projected 1.00m all around the outer face of wall of pump house will proper slope for drainage. |
12 | One M.S. girder of suitable size and 6.50 m length will be fixed 30 cm below the roof level along the diameter of pump house in the centre of opening left in the floor of pump house. (item no ‘h’) asper direction of Engineer – in –charge. |

The filter plant should consists of inlet chamber, flow measuring device, presettling tanks (1 units), mixing units, flocculation unit, secondary settling tank (1 units), rapid gravity filter (minimum 2 filter beds), clear water chamber including all piping, valves, RCC back wash tank 4.00 kl, double storey building (minimum 30 sqm) one floor will be used for office and other floor will be used for chemical room). Each floor height should be minimum 3.30 m. The work also include 60 cm apron and 15 cm semicircular PC drain all around all units and including overall drainage of water treatment campus upto outside 5 m of campus boundary. The work should also include internal electrification of all units as well as external electrification as per requirement of site. The work also include 1 m inter connecting RCC/CC path ways to all units as per site requirement. The work also include necessary excavation as per requirement and development ofwater treatment plant and disposal of surplus earth from site of work to suitable available place but excluding the cost of protection works, boundary wall and gates, which will be executed separately as per approved layout and design of treatment plant. The contractor is advised to inspect the site of work. No excuse and request to change the site, rates and demand of extra rates will be entertained at later stage. |
