Pull out tests with designated loads for anchor bolts should be carried out by the contractor.(Note : Supply of 46mm dia anchor bolt will be measured and paid seperately as per item no.3) |

8 | Providing and Applying 2 coat of Coal tar epoxy paint (required dry film thickness is 150 microns/coat) over one coat red oxide primer (required dry film thickness is 30 microns/coat) of approved brand for bollards and fairleads including Surface preparation by chipping and removal of rust using power tools/ manual means, rental charges of required machineries, labours, consumables etc all complete as directed by Engineer-In-charge. |

18 | Cutting and removal of existing anchor bolts, lifting and removing out of bollards/fairleads from its erected postion along with its existing baseplates, cutting and removal of existing corroded baseplates, grinding & preparing the uneven surfaces at bottom of bollard stem and making chamfer / bevelled edges and erection of refurbished bollards in position including disposal of steel scrap in designated location all as directed by Engineer In charge. |
19 | Fabrication and welding of newly issued MS base plates to CI bollards and fairleads using IRS certified E6013 or E 7018electrodes of size 3.15 to 4.00mm including drilling holes of required size all as directed by Engineer Incharge. In-situ X-ray test and UT test at welded joints covering at least 10% of weld length in each bollard/fairlead should be conducted by the contractor. . (Note: 1. MS baseplates will be issued free of cost by HSL, 2. Fabrication chages will be given to weight of New base plate + weight of Pedestal of bollard) |
