| 2 | Strengthening of the existing viaduct handrail baseplate with an additional angle section and anchor bolts. The angle section should be welded to the existing baseplate and anchored into the concrete parapet with an M10 threaded rod and epoxy chemical, including the cost of labour, all materials, and other consumables wherever necessary, as per the drawing enclosed and as per the direction by the Engineer-in-Charge during permitted block hours only. |
| 3 | Strengthening of the Hand rail at the specified locations, wherever discontinuity between the hand rail causing large opening, by providing additional length of MS angle of size 25x25x4mm of length upto 600 mm, and fixing with existing hand rail, using HSFG bolt M6, suitable washer etc.. Wherever fixity on both ends is not possible the angle shall be fixed on one end and extended to other side.Holes on the existing handrail formed shall be of 10 mm - to permit required play for expansion/contraction, including all materials, consumables tools and plants, labours, lead and lift complete. The work to be done as per the drawing enclosed and as per the instruciton of Engineer during the permitted block hours only. |
