| 63 | Notes for BoQ:-(a) The furniture article as and when received fromUnit/Occupant as case may be, the Engineer-in-Charge (BSO) shall enter these furniture articles in furniture deposit register (IAFW-1830) and shall subsequently issue for necessary repair/polishing to the Contractor through Nominal issue voucher(NIV) mentioning the date of issue duly signed by the contractor. In certain cases the repairable furniture article can also be issued directly from units.(b) The contractor shall return these furniture articles after repair work on or before 30 days from the date of issue of furniture and nominal Receipt Vouchers (NRV) shall be issued duly signed by furniture I/C, BSO and Contractor. (c) If the contractor fails to repair and return these furniture article within 30 days, a penalty of Rs 10 per furniture article per day will be levied to contractor and the same will be recovered from contractors claims.(d) Generally the periodicity for issue of furniture from BSO Yard shall be once or twice in a month (reckoning from date of commencement of work as per WO No.1) subjected to the users requirement/availability of furniture for repair works. However care shall be taken that repairable furniture shall be issued not more than 20% of total qty of CA provision in one month. (e) Removal of Existing componants of following MES Pattern Furniture Item\"s Carefully without disturbing the adjoining Parts and S&F new componantsof same patternas per Drgin lieu of Dismantled /Discordedcomponants including Tighting the Joints, Pinning, Screwing, wedging, Gluing, Providing Hinges, Placing every part in-tact condition.(g) Cleaning, Derusting of Stain/Dirt old polish with Grinder machine or Sand Paper as required and as directed making the Surface smooth filling the holes with putty where ever required and Applying two coats of French Polish for wooden Items. (h) Replaced/ Changed parts should be First finished seperately upto the level /extent so that the Painting /Polishing on whole Items should be matched and desired finish shall be obtained.(j) Work will be executed where the Furniture Item\"s exist in different user unit\"s of BSO GE South New Delhi including Furniture yard of BSO\"s Sub Division. |
