| 8 | Drilling bore holes of sizes 100mm or nearest in all classes of soil including hire charges of plant anfd machinery, cost of oil, fuel, tool etc. taking all necessary precautions for safety to the substation equipments etc. as per the direction of departmental officers at site. |
| 9 | Driving down the ground electrode upto a depth of 3m from the already taken earth pitas directed by the departmental officers. |
| 10 | Providing, laying and filling bore holes with conductive concrete using marconite and cement in the ratio 2:1 ( 2 Marconite :1 Cementin weight with 1Ltr of water per 4 kG of total mix)) ramming suitably to remove air pockets thoroughly as directed by departmental staff at site. |
| 11 | Welding of overlapping joints for mat,riser lap joints with 32/25mm MS rod placed in trenches, having 150mm in length 6mm in thick on both sides of the rod and both ends of overlapped MS rods with 6mm welding thickness after cleaning the surfaces neatly. Charges includes cost of low hydrogen DC electrode (No. E7018), hire charges of DC arc welding set and tools and plants required, current charges including labour charges for holding MS rod in position and applying two coats of anti corrosive paints at the welded joints etc. complete as per the directions of department officers. |
| 12 | Welding the nodal points (cross joints ) in the trenches at two sides to a thickness of 6mmafter cleaning the surface neatly. Charges includes cost of low hydrogen DC electrodes (No. E7018), hire charges of DC welding set and tools and plants required, current charges, labour charges for holding MS rod in position and applying two coats of anti corrosive paints at the welded joints etc. complete as per the directions of departmental officers. |

| 14 | Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth,sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50m and lift upto 1.5m. |
