| 5 | (a ) Rates quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be included cleaning of installation & surrounding area of AC Plant,taking care from any pilfirage/damage of installation & maintening documents/registers,duty roster & attendence register complete all as specified & directed.(b) The rates quoted by contractor shall be deemed to be included provision of all the latest labour laws / regulation including all relevent taxes as applicable.(c) Contractor shall quoted the rates considering their monthly leaves, reliver etc as per labour laws and nothing extra shall be paid on account of the above. In case of absence of staff/ tradesman from duty, payment of the that day will not be paid, In addition of that a penalty of Rs 1500/- per day per person will be recovered from contractor dues. also in case of long absence continously (more than one week) of staff/tradesman, The payment of that day will not be paid. The contractor shall have to claim on this account.(d) Contractor has to supply three sets of tools and plant to the labour employed by him and should be placed with the safe custody of department, rates quoted shall be deemed to be inculded the above of provision. |
| 6 | (e ) Surprise check will be carried out by department representative and if any emplyoes is not availabe at his working place, he will be treated as absent. (f) Contractor has to submit the list of employes including reserve alog with police verification, Adhar card, Adhar card linked bank account No and relevant documents as mentioned in PS to the Engineer-in-Charge along with performance security before issue work order.(g) The payment shall be made to employes on or before 10th of every calender month. Payment to employes shall be done by crossed cheque/RTGS/NEFT/IMPS through Adhar card linked Bank Account only and it shall not be less than minimum fair wages as per act in vogue.(h) Contractor has to employ the number of labours per day as intimated by the Engineer-in-Charge for which he has to make alternative arrangement. |
| 7 | (j)In case any variation in manpower as indicated in Column No 4 of BOQ due to any reasons/ or any manpower held in department or any policy change contractor should have no claim on that account (k) The bidders are advised not to quote rate less than minimum fair wages as circulated by competent authority. If the quoted amount is less than the estimated cost Item No. 1 & 2 i.e Rs. 2162424/- , the lowest bidder will have to deposit FDR/BGB as elaborated herein after in favour of Accepting Officer within 7 days of opening of financial bid (Cover No.2). (L) The deposited amount shall be the difference between estimated cost and amount quoted by lowest bidder for respective item. FDR/BGB shall be released only after satisfactory completion of work. If the contractor fails to pay minimum wages to be verified by GE. The decision of Accepting Officer regarding amount to be withhold shall be final and binding. The withhold amount will be utilised by GE for payment to employes if contractor fails to pay minimum wages and balance amount if any shall only be released. If the lowest bidder fails to deposite the amount as stated above within 7 days, the contractor shall be banned for 6 months and his bid shall be rejected. The contractor shall be submit 03 Nos BGBs/FDRs of equal amount as mentioned above. The BGBs/FDRs validity shall be 4 months, 8 month and 12 months repectively for the purpose of encashment/ released as the case may be.(M) The rates quotes shall be inclusive of suitable releiver wherever sundays and holidays are mentioned for working. |
