NAME OF WORK: PROVISION OF 62.5 KVA DG SET INCLUDING AMF PANEL AT TIRAH LINES AND BHARATPUR LINES UNDER AGE (I) DHARAMSHALA.

3Removing excavated materials/ soils, not exceeding 50mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50mtrs, complete all as specified and directed.
4Sand cushioning to protection of underground cables, laid 8 Cm before laying and 15 Cm after laying of cable, and punned to form an overall layer of 18 Cms thick, complete all as specified and directed Note: Punned thickness shall be measured.
5Sub class ‘B brick, old size, brick covering laid dry, flat, transversally along the length of cable on sand cushioning, with width equal to the length of the brickcomplete all as specified and directed.
6GI pipe light grade of size 80 mm dia laid in trenches/ walls including clamps, screws etc, complete all as specified and directed.
7GI pipe light grade of size 50 mm dia laid in trenches/ walls including clamps, screws etc, complete all as specified and directed.
8Cutting/ grooving on plinth/ wall/ verandah in any condition for laying of cable through pipe and making good the disturbed surface by using cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0, using 12.5mmgraded crushed stone aggregate as required complete all as directed.
9XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty, LT under ground, electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 70 Sqmm, 3.5 core laid in trenches, passing through pipe/ ducts/ surface of wall ceiling etc including testing complete all as specified. Note:- Excavation & Earth work, cable cover and sand cushioning shall be measured and paid separetly.
10XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty, LT under ground, electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 50 Sqmm, 3.5 core laid in trenches, passing through pipe/ ducts/ surface of wall ceiling etc including testing complete all as specified. Note:- Excavation & Earth work, cable cover and sand cushioning shall be measured and paid separetly.
11XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty, LT under ground, electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 25 Sqmm, 3.5 core laid in trenches, passing through pipe/ ducts/ surface of wall ceiling etc including testing complete all as specified. Note:- Excavation & Earth work, cable cover and sand cushioning shall be measured and paid separetly.
12Supply, installation , Commissiong and Testing of totally enclosed LT panel box (Length = 1.50, Width 0.60 mtr, Height = 1.50 mtr) outddor type, CPRI type tested, LT 440 Volts, 50 Hz , 3 Phase4 wire supply system, double door type, having independent cabin including locking arrangement for each MCCBs, floor mounted factory fabricated weather and vermin proof protection class IP 55 made out of 3.15 mm thick MS Sheet CRCA Sheet on angle iron 50X50X6mm frame of size suitable to incorporate following accessories with front and rear opening doors, handle type locking arrangementpowder coated internally and externally shall have angle iron legs of appropriate size and embeded in PCC foundation of size as required or approved by manufacturers in PCC 1:3:6 TypeC-2 , using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as recommended by manufacturer or directed including taking out exiting LT Panel from site, LT Panel comprising of following
13Incoming:- (a) MCCB having current rating 125 Amps with rupturing cap 25 KA , AC 415 Volts,four pole, thermal magentic adjustable type complete with spreader links. (Qty -01 No)
14Outgoing:- (a) MCCB having current rating 63 Amps with rupturing cap 25 KA , AC 415 Volts,four pole, thermal magentic adjustable type complete with spreader links. (Qty -03 Nos) (b ) MCB TPN 16 Amp 10 KA - 02 (c) Bus bar chamber comprising 4 Nos copper strip bus bars PVC insulated made of copper strip of size (50 x 10) mm. PVC sheathed with colour coding. Note : (i) Incoming and outgoing cables shall be fixed with appropriate size of copper thimble. (ii) Apron shall be provided at bottom of protection of cable to avoid entry of vermins, raptiles. (iii) Entries of all sizes of cables in panel should be done through adequate size of metallic cable glands.
15Supply, install, testing and commissioning of outdoor type factory assembled diesel driven generating set with silent (acoustic) enclosure with fully wired alternator AC for ambient conditionsto give output of 62.5 / 63 KVA (50 KW) (at an altitude of 1800 Metre above Mean sea level) continuous rating at power factor 0.8,415 volts + 2.5% AC 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz + 1 %, 1500 rpm directly coupled with diesel engine water cooled mounted on common base frame placed on & including PCC platform with floor mounted Fuel Tank of adequate capacity with fuel lines, anti vibration pads, standard control & AMF panels and other accessories etc complete all as specified & directed consisting of following :-
16(A) Prime Mover (Diesel Engine) :- Adequate capacity diesel engine of standard design consist of direct injection type, turbo charged four stroke, liquid cooled technology conforming to BS 5514 and IS 10000 suitable for prime duty generating set 62.5 KVA / 50 KW (at an altitude of 1800 Metre above Mean sea level), of suitable BHP @ 1500 RPM with multi cylinders to drive independently alternator as per site condition after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories, directly coupled through coupling having overload capacity of 10% for one hour in every 12 Hrs continuous runningmounted on base frame withfollowing salient features and standard accessories for safe handling & operation of engine as under:-
17(a) The gen set should have capacity to run continously in variable load condition for unlimited hoursand should also have a 110% load capacity of 01 hour in every 12 hours of operation. (b) Air System - Inlet & Exhaust comprising (i) Dry-type paper element air Cleaner (ii) Restriction Indicator / Vacuum Indicator (iii) Optimised Turbocharger (iv) Intake Manifold (v) Exhaust Manifold (vi) Silencer mufflerand (vii) Stainless steel Exhaust Flexible coupling (c) Cooling System comprising (i) Radiator to suitambient conditions (ii) Cooling system piping (iii) Thermostat (iv) Pressure cap(v) Coolant Inhibitor and (vi) Engine Driven Fan (d) Fuel System comprising (i) Fuel pump -Low pressure type (ii) Injectors (iii) Cartridge paper filters primary and secondary for Fuel (e) Governor :- Engine Electronic Governor for A1 governing of engine speed from No load to full load. 18(g) Electric Starting system comprising (i) Electrical starter - 12 Volts (ii) Engine driven battery charging alternator (iii) Cut Out and (iv) OneNo of 12 volts of 150 AH maintenance free battery with suitable connection terminals and leads for proper battery connection (h) Engine Monitoring, Protection andDiagnostics relay suitable to display following(i) Lub oil Pressure (ii) Coolant Temperature (iii) Engine Speed (iv) Hours Run (v) Battery Voltage, Battery charging voltage (vi) Fuel level in percentage, (vii) AC Voltage 3 phase (viii) Current RYB 3 phase (ix) Power Factor (x) Frequency (xi) KVA (xii) Kilowatt andsuitable for (i) Start and Stop (ii) Common Shutdown (iii) High coolant temp warning and shutdown (iv) Low tube oil pressure warning and shutdown (v) Low fuel level shutdown (vi) Overspeed shutdown (vii) Alternator Protection (viii)Over voltage (ix) Under voltage (x) Over and under frequency (xi) Over current (j) Engine fitted with low lube oil pressure (LLOP) & high water temperature (HWT) Safety devices and also fitted with requisite temperature and pressure gauges.
19(B) ALTERNATOR :- Self excited, self regulated screen protected drip proof type with Class "H" Insulation Salient pole revolving field andelectronic Automatic Voltage Regulator for voltage regulation of + 0.5% from No load to full load, standard enclosure 415 Volt 50 HZ 4 pole 62.5KVA cap complete as per IS-13364-2 and conf to IS-4722 or BS 2613-1970 all as required or recommended by manufactrurer.
20(C) BASE FRAME :-Made of ISMC fabricated and welded construction channel duly painted for mounting Engine and Alternator all as per manufacturer"s design along with specially designed in built vibration pads. (D) LT Control & AMF Panel:-AMF panel board free standing floor mounted factory made outdoor type made out of CRCA sheet 3.15 mm thick totally enclosed, weather dust and vermin proof with front opening, 440 volts 3 phase 4 wire 50 Hz having aluminium bus bar of suitable capacityfor three phases and neutral duly powder coated with coloured heat shrinkable PVC sheelves, Multifunctional digital controler relay for AMF operation and display of electrical parameters, manual/ auto Start/Stop facility, Two Nos Electrically operated contactor 4 pole of suitable capacity for DG set and main supply (auto shifting of electrical load is required), 100 Amps MCCB FP -01 No for load, and suitable protection arrangements for Contactors complete all as specified, with on/off controller indicator, Phase Indicators, engine start push button, engine stop push button and fault accept / reset push button including battery charger comprising transformer, rectifier, resistance, DC volt meter DC Amp meter and charge rate selector switch, all accessories prewired with suitable size copper conductor cable or strip all as required or recommended by manufacturer.
21(E) Acoustic Enclosure (CANOPY) :- Shall conform to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) norms of 75 dBA at one metre under free field conditions, having air inlet louvers specially designed to operate at rated load even at ambient conditions on air inlet temperature,powder coated for long lasting service life and superior finish with UV resistant powder coating to with stand extreme environments, designed to have minimum ease for unloading & shifting , i.e with central lifting facility,rust free hardware made of stainless steel, Insulation material to meetIS:8183 specifications. (F) Fuel Tank :- Draw out type integral fuel tank made of MS sheet (duly painted) of capacity min 200 ltrs or as recommended by manufacturer with level indicator in ltrs,provided with drain plug and air vent / breather and inlet and outlet connections.
22(G) Foundation :- Size and type of PCC platform for mounting DG Set and AMF Panel required to be constructed as per manufacturer"s specification or as recommeded by Engr - in - Charge. (H) Arrangement of POL for testing of DG Set done by the contractor and rates deemed to be included in quoted rate. J) Spares and tools will be supplied by contractor.
23Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6.3mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below ground level, connecting to galvanised iron strip 32mm x 6mm (as earth lead strip), by means of bolt, nuts, check nuts and washer of galvanised and earth wire protected by provision of galvanised iron pipe light grade, 15mm bore including provn of concrete pit in PCC M-15, type B-I using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates with 40mm thick precast cover of size 550 mm X 550 mm X 75 mm of RCC M-15, type B-I, reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 4 kg/ Sqm) and frame of angle iron 25x25x3mm with lugs 2 Nos and with 6mm dia mild steel bar handle made to shape, galvanised iron medium grade 20mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom 1.75 metre long placed on top edge of earth plate, common salt and charcoal filling, test point made out of phosphorous bronze with fixingarrangement, funnel, wire mesh and including earth work in any type of soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre, all as per electricalplate No. 3 of SSR 2009 Part-I and connection to earth test point all as specified and testing on completion.
