Earthwork in excavation to the proper level and grade including light dressing and stacking of serviceable stone as directed and removing of spoils upto 30mts and all lifted. Hard shale or medium rock of the hardness of the building stones, laterite and the like.

Providing 100mm thick soling with approved quality of stones including local carriage of stones including ramming, consolidation and filling the interstices with stone aggregates all complete.

Providing and laying cement concrete in prop 1:3:6 with hard broken stone aggregate or river shingles (14mm down graded) including necessary carriage or stone and sand within 200m and curing complete. Material procured by the contractor.

Providing and laying cement concrete in prop 1:1½:3 corresponding to M20 with stone aggregates 20mm down graded including carriage of aggregates and sand within 200 metres (excluding shuttering and reinforcement) complete as directed. Materials procured by the contractor

Providing shuttering with dressed planks not less than 25mm thick properly joined including batten props to the proper level and removing the same after the concrete hardens as directed.
