Preparing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. from black top surfaces or by using mechanical broom and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen. Complete all as directed by Engg-in-charge.

M&L for WBM, 10cm thick (compacted thickness) with granite,trap or basalt of grading 1 (90 to 40mm size), spread, rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and consolidated to gradient and camber required

M &L,Premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolledand compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller using paving bitumen binder at 4% by weigh of total mix (consolidated thickness 75 mm ).

M&L for Moorum/ Red bajri spread 100 mm thickness, rolled using power roller exc 2 tonne & not exc 5 tonne and consolidated to gradient and camber required.

M&L for Bituminuos premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 6.00% binder content by weight of Total mix, rolled using 8 to 12 tonne power roller and compacted to required chamber and gradient complete using paving bitumen any penetration.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like not exc. 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.
