| 1 | • Dismantling of the dredge pump housing as a complete unit weighing up to 1 ton approx. of Ellicott Series 370Dredge (Budshah-II) Dredge at site Johama in river waters. The primary job includes dismantling of front and back transmission system, piping both suction and discharge sides, & M.S pump housing as a whole. The job shall further include dismantling of the bearing housing a complete unit from the base of Dredge / hull and lifting by a lifting mechanism in river waters and shifting the same to shore by means of water transport to shoreline through a distance of 0.5 km. The bearing unit is then to be lifted and loaded on a tractor trolley at shore of river waters of Jhelum and then is shifted to the workshop and then again lifted and unloaded at workshop for further dismantling and repairs. • Repairs / replacements of bearing housing which involves drainage of Contaminated Gear oil, Dismantling of complete bearingunit & Flanges and other auxiliary components. The job primarily include dismantling of the seized impeller with the help ofgas cutter , hand cutter /grinder from the damaged impeller shaft . The job also includesdismantling of M.S bearing shield plates, lock rings and removal of damaged bearing on the front and the after ends of the bearing housing. In addition, the job further include washing cleaning of the bearing housing completely removing all scales, dirt and sand from the bearing housing using diesel and kerosene to ensure proper cleaning of the housing before fitment of the impeller shaft and the following items and spares. Providing and fitment of front and rear tapped roller thrust bearings as per sample of SKF, FAG, TEMKIN USA or equivalent reputed make.[ Specification of bearing : a).Frontbearing No= HH926749/HH92610 =01No. Complete bearing. b).Rear bearing No= EE107060/107105=01 No. Complete bearing. • The new bearings are to be placed on pre-determined bearing seats of impeller. The job shall further include placement of impeller with proper alignment within the bearing housing seats and locked perfectly to the lock rings and other fitments. • Providing and fitment of 04 No’s of complete oil seals of specifications as per sample. • Providing and filling of gear oil 48 ltr’s of recommended EP-90 in bearing housing attachment assemblybefore being installed tested and commissioned and trial running on the Ellicott series 370 Dredge (Budshah- II) at Johama site after fitment of repaired unit. After successful repairs to damaged bearing housing it is then to be shifted back to shore , transported to dredger and refitted back to pumping unit of said dredger with the help of all useful tools and tackles, highly skilled laborers at site. The repairedunit is then to be tested on no load as well as on load condition so as to ensure proper functioning of pumping unit of said dredger. • Charges on account of rebuilding by way of welding and finishing and grinding thereof ditches and depression of 02 No. of front and rare liners of the pump housing to exact profile and shape using specific and proper grade electrodes. • Repairs to the MS Delivery pipe of said dredger by way of welding at two spots. Job involves cutting the damaged patches of the delivery pipes with the help of gas cutter at site and the welding the cutted patches with new one at site by Arc welding using superior class welding electrodes. The new patches are to be welded in two runs of weld bead and welded beads are chipped off with the help of chipping hammer so as to ensure proper welding and check of leakages if any at site. All tools tackles ie; DG Set, pol’s etc for execution of this job at site are to arranged by the firm itself. • Repairs to the piston rod attachment of ladder assembly of Budshah-ii by way of dissembling the complete piston cylinder attachment assembly by way of engaging skilled labour. The damaged ladder assembly is to be lifted with the help of tripod stand, chain pulley block at site and damaged piston rod attachment is then to be removed out from ladder assembly unit and loaded in transportation vehicle and shifted to workshop for further repairs. After repairing of piston rod attachment of ladder assembly, it is to be re-fitted back to the ladder assembly of dredger at site. |
