Improvement of base frame and foundations of 13 MGD Kirloskar make pump set No. 2 & 3 at Kilokri old SPS by carrying out the following works:-Disconnecting all electric connections and decoupling the motor from the pump and pump from suction and delivery system by using gas cutter set and manual labour.

Making of MS blank flange on 400mm dia suction line and delivery line of 400mm dia.

Dismantling the pump set from the base frame by cutting and removing of all the rusted MS nut bolts by gas cutter set, electric welding set and manual labour as per site requirement.Lifting of pump and motor on ground level from the dry sump.

Removing of worn out MS base frame from RCC foundation by cutting foundation bolts with gas cutting foundation bolts with gas cutter / welding set etc. and lifting it out by crane to ground level from dry sump and shifting it to the suitable site.

Breaking of RCC foundation by pneumatic power hammer, chisel and electric compressor machine etc. the job includes removing the broken material from pump house and disposing the same at suitable place as per instruction of engineer in charge.

Recasting of RCC foundation of by 1:2:4 concrete including providing / fixing of 8 Nos. foundation bolts of size 300x25mm.

Providing of MS base frame of size 2800mm x 1500mm made out of heavy duty ISMC 200x70mm and MS plate of suitable size as per existing base frame.

Fixing of MS base frame on the RCC foundation.The job includes proper leveling and alignment.
Re-installation and refitting the pump set as per original position with proper alignment and also making of all electrical connections etc. in original position and testing on full load as per satisfaction of site engineer.
